WilliamHill "soon to be" shut down in Belgium?

Hi,

When going to williamhill.com i end up with this screen:



There has been some changes in the legislation here in Belgium so is this the beginning of the end? Ladbrokes pulled out last year but this is the first time I've seen this.

I can still access the site when going straight to http://sports.williamhill.com/bet/en-gb but who knows for how long.

Anyone have any more information about this and if willhill is just the first of many?

Any info would be appreciated( especially as I'm not from Belgium and i dont speak any of the local languages very well..... ).

in general, you can expect more eu countries to tighten the online gaming bills to increase revenue, or at least, keep money with residents to spend it on something local. has to happen sooner or later, some countries have been surprisingly slow on this...

if you are a foreigner and have a foreign address, i'm sure you can think of a way to work around it.
