I posted my picks whenever I got a chance to sit down and post them. They were not even close to the #s I got on a daily basis.... especially since the #s I were getting were as much as 0.5 runs off between heritage and pinnacle.

By the way, I'm still hitting 60% even though people said I had no chance at maintaining it.

BetIslands needs to build up their IT team in their new office. That's one of the challenges for any website when you switch hosting to your own...big investments in the receiving IT team are are necessary. There are big things from DoS attacks, to database mirroring and syncing, to managing pipe during peak times. They are getting the crash course but I think they'll get it sorted out."

One of the things everyone likes about BI is fast payouts. If their issues are effecting you and it's your only bankroll, move your money. You can always come back.

To their defense, I called tonight and they answered immediately and took care of me. Things happen so as long as they are making other arrangements by phone you can't be too hard on them. I am not happy about it because I like to see my options and don't always just bet straight games but willing to give them time to correct it. The biggest issue I have is that they understand a lot of their good players post on this site. It would take one minute for Jon, Nick or whoever to come on here and reassure everyone things are being worked out and they are not on the beach with our money. Communication in crisis is the biggest key.

BetIslands has been encountering a series of DDOS attacks; an attack that overloads the site's servers by sending a flood of messages. Sites like Yahoo, even federal govt sites have been the target of such attacks; and just about every sportsbook that was successful enough to make itself a target.

Management tells SBR they're bringing in a team of specialists to work with their IT department to put a stop to the downtime.

They just started with their 20% monthly net loss rebate so perhaps they can afford to apply that to the month of April for those of us who got dinged last month. I'd welcome that.

Funny thing though, I went into chat to ask about that and not only was I told to email Jon, who I'm sure has an overflowing inbox, but they blamed the outage on a country wide internet provider crashing saying other books were down too. Anyone know which others?

Most places if you ask for a withdrawal on the weekends it's processed on Monday.
