YesBet responds to SBR SCAM alert

YesBet.ag has been added to the SBR Sportsbook ratings guide at D-. On May 2nd, SBR issued a scam alert that YesBet was offering free $25 accounts to players; claiming to have over 10 years of experience, and spamming players with fake email headers. YesBet used the acronyms of popular iGaming forums to suggest the sportsbook was a new sponsor of those websites. YesBet addressed the deceptive mailer in this message to SBR staff. | Read more

The book shares a CS# with off-line bookie Lay104 (SBR rating D). The latest SBR newswire update points out some other facts.

YesBet was initiated with a rating of D-.

Well, for what its worth I decided to take them up on their free $25 offer...I called customer service and made sure there was no misunderstanding as it pertains to rules, regulations, turnover rate, etc....Bottom line, you can only do straight wagers (which is par for the course) and the max per bet is $100...You need to take the winnings up to $500 before you can cash out...But here is the kicker...You have to actually deposit real money into your account before a withdrawal can be made!!.......they told me that this was for "verification purposes"...to which I replied...I just told you my name, home address, and account number!!....what else do you need?!...He said "sorry, that's the way it is"....IMO, this should raise some red flags....Any thoughts, comments, or suggestions?!....Of'course I won todays wager (had the over 10 total on the NY/KC game) but now I'm wondering if I should even bother at all.

depositing makes sense with all the fraud you'll get in offering freebies and people loooking to start multiple accounts

The offer is expired due to popular demand, the amzing thing is it's a 10 times RO with get this a max cashout of $2500. will be interesting to see reports on SBR as I'm sure they handed out plenty off $25 before shutting it down.

Actually, the CS rep told me that as well...I know there are lots of bonus whores who try to circumvent the system by opening up multiple accounts and what not....well, if I'm fortunate enough to win and meet the requirements, rest assured I will keep the forum posted on payout and/or payout issues!...Hopefully the former and not the latter!...

Good luck, the min deposit is $25 and the max withdrawl is $2500 which is extremly generous. I did actulally get myself to and should i bring my balance to $2500 , I'll glady make a p2p deposit. and report how it goes as well.

Likely not much we can do bud, but if you submit a complaint form we can look into it.

The unfortunate thing is even with SBR warnings, red flags etc, there will always be people willing to take the bait; even for a $25 free credit. Hopefully there's no disastrous ending.

Good point, Lou...However, it's almost next to impossible to deposit anymore as most places only accept **** and not **********...Unfortunately, my bank terminated **** and gave us MasterCards!......This really crippled me as I was strictly a CC deposit player....Like I said, I decided to take them up on their free $25 offer (what's the harm in trying and giving it a shot) and I will let the forum know the end results of how this thing turns out if I am fortunate enough to win.

I have offically met my rollover. Called today to request withdraw and was assured I would have a payout by 3pm pst. This book is legit and I have to say that is a quick payout. Mods I think you better do some more research a D- is not justice for a book that takes care of customers this quick!

                                                Hey Matt,
Well good luck!...Remember, them assuring you and ACTUALLY getting paid are two different things!..Please make sure the check clears and doesn't bounce or that you have cash in hand before calling them legit...I still have a ways to go before I meet the rollover....I hope for both of ours sake, you get your $$$$$!.......Also, did you bet more than $100 at any given time?..(in other words, let's say if your balance was $200, did you make a wager of $200 or more?...or just $100 until you hit the $500 dollar mark?)..I ask this because I don't see that listed on the rules and regulations of their website as it pertains to bonus money but that is what a CS guy told me over the phone...Please keep us posted and updated!....and congrats on winning!....

Stash, I hope you don't think I'm presumptious sending you a note like this, because I am a nobody on this forum, but I am always impressed about your knowledge of so many facets of internet gambling and gambling in general. Your replies are concise, to the point, informative, and always given without the waste of a single word. It doesn't mean squat, but just thought I'd send a friendly hat-tip to you. I for one have always found your posts most informative. You are an asset to this forum. Thanks.

have been made aware, that your website has marked us as a fraud company. We originally created an affiliate system in order to help strengthen our business. After some careful investigating, we at yesbet.ag have concluded that one of our affiliates has indeed send out numerous e-mails without our knowledge, that in turn have made us look bad. Our investigation of the e-mail headers showed us that the mail server was located in the United Kingdom, as well as where the affiliate in question was located in. We can assure you that we never had the intention of spamming anyone for any reason. We have gone ahead and permanently suspended the affiliate in question for breaking our policy, as we do not condone spamming under any circumstance. This affiliate, in no way represents our company as an entirety and we do sincerely apologize for any poor image this has caused. We would ask that if you could please give our company a fair chance to prove to the community that we are indeed a fully legitimate business. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this e-mail. We at YesBet.ag, anxiously await your reply.
