If you could land it, is it a good gig?

Curious to hear responses if anyone has done this before.

I'd have to imagine it's a pretty awful lifestyle.

Money can be good if you are experienced, efficient and trustworthy. However, most runners don't last long as temptations are high. They either steal money or leak plays, go off renegade betting or stay out all night partying and miss their shift the next day. A risky proposition pissing off some of these old school syndicate guys.

what if your not a douche/idiot/fuktard? seems like free money and a nice gig if you know the right peeps, if your not an ass who would rip people off

way back in the day my uncle had runner types cash his horse racing tickets (when the tickets were huge winners) so he wouldn't have to pay taxes on them.

I'm seriously asking here, because I have a couple connections that could get me a gig doing this.

I have zero intention of running away with anyone's money. I'll put it this way, if I could make a couple dimes a week being a runner, I would strongly consider it.

I would imagine runners make 10-20% on wins.

hear runners get paid very little or nothing----they get to follow masters bet----better work for a smart master.
