I think the pay out ease is what it comes down to. I will say though that all of the horror stories of the CS there led me to make my next deposit on Heritage after I messed off my first one on 5Dimes. I'm pretty big on being treated with respect as a customer.

Na, there is no "5 Dimes Conspiracy" here, just look at the POSTER ratings on top of this page, they received the most top votes by fellow posters like us. They have by far the most betting options of any book, they have extremely liberal parlay rules and they have the lowest juice in the business. Everything else is secondary, I will put up with being cursed out by Tony given all that they offer.

I have used them for a few years now and have never had a problem. Just dont take a shot at 5D & Tony and you'll be fine. Yes, their CS is not top notch, but what sportsbook's is? When you're hiring employees from third world countries and many barely speak English customer service should not be your top priority when choosing a book.

But I guess you rather have your ass kissed instead of getting the best lines, most betting options, and fast payouts. Don't worry, I doubt you'll be missed much at 5D. I'm sure you'll be much happier at BetOnline, Bovada, and Bookmaker.

5 Dimes is the best book I have used out of around the 6 I have tried. Can't beat their options, low minimums, and their racebook is top-notch. They gave me a referral bonus as well. And they pay.

Pros
1. The ease of deposits and withdrawls
2. They pay
3. The variety of sports and types of wagers.
4. Online poker room
5. Finally changed from a .com domain
6. The ability to speak to someone who makes decisions and says it like it is.( I may not like it but I do appreciate knowing what ground I stand on.)

Cons

1. Cant find or does not have a screen where it shows what events are closing for wagering in the next hour.
2. Auto logs me out after x minutes of activity and no way to adjust it.

The live chat customer service. Reps whose first language might not be english get a certain amount of slack. If the company were located in the USA, then I would be irate. I think the location of the site's customer service is in a nation where enligsh is not the first language. Unreasonable to expect a high level of fluency then...

This statement is why it is worth it to get a good local. 5D could crap on your face and SBR would defend them. Learn how to handicap, deal with the-110, get a local, or find a book that treats you with respect, and is not always looking for some technicality to screw you with.

Their customer service is pretty bad, even the live chat they talk condescendingly like they're not sitting in a third world country with their grade 3 education. They once tried to cancel a bonus I cleared along with the winnings because I swore at their idiot CS in live chat.

However, I complained to SBR and they paid me in full back to my CC even though they had insisted they would only pay via **.

I still use them from time to time.

5dimes works for me... has sent many checks via P2P. I don't takes shots on bad lines, try to post late bets, and wager on lines that are obscure either so I rarely have to go into live chat unless to request a payout, which is done in a timely manner. I can't imagine why 5dimes would single one recreational bettor out and not the other... because they don't.
