Dealing with Tony of 5D to open a closed account

Hi,

I spoke with Tony for the first time last week after my account was suspended, and it was worse than I was prepared for. After a 30+ minute baseless interrogation, it ended with an ultimatum: “settle my account within 24 hours or I go SBR”. To his credit, he settled and closed my account an hour later, and in keeping my word, I will keep the chat private. I received all of my money in balance and in pending wagers, with no issues.

SBR does a great service, Ive been in betting for less than a year, and it really is a huge help, and a means of collaborating. Having read through past posts and reviews, I realize communication issues with Tony are hardly news worthy. But I really like 5D as a sportsbook, their staff aside from Tony has been courteous and helpful, payouts have been prompt, and wagers handled correctly.

Is there any way I can rejoin 5Dimes, and perhaps speak to a cool-headed administrator here or at 5D? I have no intention of speaking with Tony again, and I don’t think any reasonable conversation with him could ensue. However I would like to continue wagering at the sportsbook, and would be glad to speak with any cool-headed representative or intermediary.

Don't know who that is. Was payout an issue for you with 5d?

My account was closed b/c of a past-post bet. There was nothing to suggest malice, yet I was treated like a Turkish prisoner. I want to play there b/c they have great props in boxing/MMA, and often hang lines first. For boxing they've been my best book.

Given the sarcastic nature of your replies, I take it this isn't new, and I'm pretty much boned?

Those are what allows them to offer reduced juice IMO. It is the type of shop that is certain bettors dreams and it seems mutually beneficial. They want most everyone to bet their various props, teases, parlays, pleases because in the long run those bets pay their bills, not that it's easy to win making straight bets either.

They are sometimes questioned for not having a better bonus structure, but I feel that with all their props, reduced juice, alternate lines etc on every last thing and unlimited points buying, for the type of players they want to service they do a pretty good job satisfying them. The payouts are fast as hell too.

Despite what you have heard about those that have chatted with him on different issues, have you ever once heard of him not paying anyone? Ever?

You have nothing to worry about, consider Tony someone that has just been known to be a little more colorful when dealing with a customer on some type of issue. Most likely, you'll never even cross paths with him.

You are right on that point Crazy he ALWAYS pays, I personally don't like taking the chance of having a confrontation with someone beacause when I do I lose my cool rather quickly and it does not end well for either party as some here may have noticed over my tenure, being calm and collected in disagreementys are things I struggle with and if I ever did have to talk to him I know the situation would not end up well because I am rather stubborn
