I was a member of the now-defunct VIP Sportsbook for 10 years. Liked it very much, easy to operate, honest to the end (for me at least). This past fall I decided on 5Dimes to be my new book. It gets good reviews, reputable, US-friendly, love the reduced juice. However....Maybe I'm just used to my old book - (or the fact I was so successful with VIP I didn't have to relaod for 5 years and I've already run through my 5Dimes initial deposit in 6 months) - but there are a couple things about the 5Dimes layout that bothered me a lot. I'm pretty vanilla in my betting - spread and money line bets on US football and basketball, very few paylays/special props. However, at 5Dimes, the list of available games were never listed in chronological order, which I always found to be bizarre and make it difficult to quickly find my games. Also, whenever I placed several bets at once, the amount I put in the betting box is what the payout would be - instead of what my actual wager on the game would be. (Betting on dogs would always be betting more money than I actually wanted to wager.) I could not find any options/preferences page where these things were configurable. (VIP was good about that.)
Before I reload for March Madness, I'd like to consider a different book. Is there a highly-rated book that may be more compatible with my betting style? Any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
