Is online gambling legal in Canada?

Upon hearing the news from the U.S today I contacted Pinnacle to see where they stand with what is going on.

They couldn't really give me an answer as to if it is legal for Canadians to be part of their site or if our money is safe. They just told me that they are licensed in the Netherlands.

Anyone have an answer to this?

No concern whatsoever.

It is not "legal" but the laws are so vague and they would never waste their time going after someone for placing a bet.

Soon enough wagering on single game events could be legal in Canada if all goes well with this recent Bill, which means you could do it 100% legally within our borders, but probably pay -120 juice to do so.
