It would not have been something I recommended - they have been dicking players around with slow-pays for ages - but since the deposit is already made there is not much to say but good luck.

I did hear rumors about a possible buyout, however I didn't know which book though. Hopefully BetPhoenix will shed some light on this subject since they do visit the forum daily.

Moe, Betmania's Payout Manager left a while back and hasn't been replaced. (Fred, the Sales Manager is looking after those duties).

Maybe that's an indication that doings are a-happening.

I will give you a headsup if/when I get the noose, but at least they didn't tell me NO WAY even before I could get signed up!! Lately, that is a good sign for me.

And, its a good time for me to say again--I appreciate Cris (who gives mild malignment), Skybook (who puts you in a place you can live with), and Pinny of course. These guys pretty much take your action and don't whine abt it later!!

They are on the platform now but Phoenix won't own Mania until October first, if it goes through. This could still be reversed.

so they moved in, on the platform, but no deal?/..so does PHOENIX assume the payouts??..BETMANIA off the screen..can someone give clarity here??..there are many players owed $$$..

I was just speaking to MANIA. Unfortunately I didn't have my reporter hat on and probably didn't ask all the right questions but here are some points. I'm not vouching for anything, just repeating.

The deal with Phoenix is 99.9% for sure (but, as has been stressed here already, don't try doing any MANIA action through the Phoenix site yet).

If/when it happens Oct. 1, there will be more processing options available, and players won't be limited to such small sized payouts (like the $1000 at a shot which I've been dealing with).

Wires and cheques will also be added as options.

There will be a significant increase in betting selection - and that will only increase more in the future.

Until the end of the month when the assets and book audit thing is done, think of it as turnkey service. When they vouch for Mania we will note it. Hopefully Mania still planned to process payouts next week but my guess is they won't.

MANIA made every effort to discourage me from pushing them for a payout before next Thursday, even offering me a bonus on my existing balance to just hang tight.
