whole group should have lower rating. this stunt should earn wagerup an f rating. unless they do what the player asks for. seems like a reasonable choice offered to wagerup.

So they limited him after one bet and he ran it up from $920 to $2082 .

Looks like a smart move by the book.

Good run to win $1162 on $30 parlays and $82.50 straight bets.

When players deposit into books that offer 100% start-up bonuses, they should realize that getting withdrawals processed is NOT going to be easy.

The guy deposited $200 (I wouldn't be surprised if the max bonus offered under the promotion was $200) and bet the entire deposit on a 2 team parlay.

Its a virtual certainty that as soon as his rollover was met, he would immediately request a withdrawal of his entire balance and go find another book offering 100% bonuses and start the process all over again.

While bonus whoring is 100% legitimate, I never feel too bad when players who do it have a rough time getting their withdrawals processed.

You have to be nuts to make a deposit into a book offering 100% bonuses as its next to impossible for the book to show a profit and therefore its going to be next to impossible to get your withdrawal processed down the road.

Stick with the well established books and you won't have these kind of problems.

We spoke with BTG Global management and there are a couple of corrections to the players' claims. For now, the matter has been satisfactorily addressed.

UPDATE: BTG Global management has addressed this dispute. BTG has clarified that the player's statement of having limits from $22-$82.50 is false. The player was limited after being profiled as a non-recreational bettor, and given the following limits: $200 for NBA straight, $100 ML & total, as well as $75 NCAAB straight, $50 ML & total. BTG states the player is 21% of the way through his current rollover, and is able to continue playing or accept a prorated portion of his bonus winnings.

It is already in the works. Give it a year and they most likely will be a SBR sponsor. You could just tell by the "official" SBR response.

21% sounds a little high(don't add up) of a percentage done on rollover already and even if true, you still have 79% to go with reduced limits. how about putting in the rules for the 100% bonus -you can only bet $20 bets- maybe $10 parlays- limits 1st not after someone wins--or just put how you really feel-for the 100% bonus we would appreciate it, if you lose. if you don't will will put many restrictions on your play making it impossible to enjoy gambling here, or to get the portion of your money that we say you deserve, without jumping thru many more hoops. oh yeah if you put that in the rules noone would deposit there. -------you want to take the chance of giving 100% bonuses to get people to join--you are willing to take that gamble--stop crying foul. do customers call to bitch to you about losing bets. wanting their money back. changing the rollover. changing limits. if anyone did would you listen. what a joke- you don't want him to play there--pay him-the deposit and the entire winnings from all bets. hate this cheap shit on the part of a sportsbook.

Well, I for one do not find that an acceptable resolution.
No way that his winnings, be they bonus or otherwise should be proportioned.
What should be proportioned is the remaining rollover.
If he's only able to bet say 50% of regular limits then that's the proportion of remaining rollover he should be required to make from the date of the limitations.

The player's balance is $2,060 now. All but three of his wagers were placed at his adjusted limits. He's done approximately 21.6% of rollover to date, he's made of dozens of wagers in a short period of time. Both the player and co. confirm. He can continue to bet or a fair, industry-standard pro-ration would be on the table. It is totally up to him.

Getting limited sucks - no doubt. Some wear it as a badge of honor. Most condemn the book. The question is, are the limits so unreasonable that making rollover is too difficult? This player has cleared 21.6% with the adjusted limits in a matter of days. He wants to be able to get down more on second half wagers, and says if he gets it, he's got no beef. We'll see what happens, and appreciate the feedback shared in here.
