    Is Bovada legit?
I just started this whole betting business a couple months ago (started with $100 and have turned it into $800!), so I am fairly new to online sportsbooks and which ones are legitimate. I read some reviews on Bovada (was Bodog when I first signed up), and I saw nothing but positive reviews about their timely and guaranteed payments, as well as a lot of other factors that lured me in. I know this has probably been answered in the past, but I was wondering if Bovada is good for sending me my payments if/when I ask for a withdrawal. I have read other people criticizing them, but that was about a year ago, so I wasn't sure if anything has changed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They will pay you don't worry. Bovada (bodog) has done things that frustrate people like slow lines and circled games etc, but they always pay. I think a month ago some people got slowpaid but it was a processing issue.

Yea, the late lines are the most annoying aspect about their book, but it's not a horrible issue. Thank you for your help.

Every book has Pros and Cons. Cons are covered pretty well here. Pros are top software, CS, dog lines and usually the easiest bonus process. Extra x% with 1x roll.

They do love to irritate people but you'll always get paid. I've had a handful of disputes with them over the years and all but one was handled to my satisfaction.

Yes they are legit and your money is safe, just the old Bodog but for U.S. customers.

If your looking for any type of bonus program......Bovada might be the worst out there.

Definitely legit. Biggest issue that people seem to have with them is getting limited which is not going to apply to most people. They definitely only want small accounts and are very conservative.

I just opened an account with them and had an issue on the bet I wanted to make. I can tell you that their customer service reps are not very informed so if you want to find something out about a policy check back on it at least 3 times. Because even if they check with a supervisor, the supervisor will get it wrong.

I called them seven times pertaining to an issue and could provide a whole list of wrong information I got along the way and they do not stand behind what their reps tell you (can't afford to).

If you are a $50 bettor, it's a good place to bet. If you want to bet more, probably will want to move on. If you like to bet favorites, it's probably not going to work out for you.

It's a good place to start and a good place to have to bet underdogs. Not a good place to have as your primary account if you have a decent balance and are going to do a lot of betting.

The first bonus is pretty good. Hit it and win it and move on.

Just dont plan on winning too much money.

My live limits are $1 on every sport and my straight bets are currently limited to $25.

Only online BJ I play where I don't get skinned alive. Late lines will annoy the chit out of you come football time. Overall a good solid book for dogs but word is they are quick to limit if you get to them with any regularity. No worries bout getting paid.
