August 23, 2006 Deposit Can$60.00
September 06, 2006 - Withdrawal (ECheck) Can$1742.61
September 13, 2006 - Withdrawal (ECheck) Can$133.55
On August 23, I did an EFT from my bank account for $60 CAD$ to my Sportsinteraction (SIA) account. After 10 days I has approx $1225 in the account. I requested a withdrawal via e-check. My withdrawal request was denied as I used EFT to fund the account and had to wait 14 days to withdraw, I thought they could/should hold the initial $60, but couldn't do anything about it so I played more, and won more.
On September 6, 2006 I requested a payout of $1472.61 via e-check back into my CIBC chequing account. I received an email from SIA that said:
"Your Sports Interaction withdrawal has been processed.
CAD 1,742.61 has been transferred to your bank account as detailed
below
and should reach your account within 3-4 business days."
After 5 business days I called SIA customer support and was told something like:
"It should be there today or tomorrow, sometimes these take longer than 5 days".
Their email clearly stated 3-4 business days and it has been over a week, no money received.
As of Sept 13, 2006, no money was received by my bank- CIBC. I am in direct communication with a woman who works in my branch and handles the wire transfers, my telephone calls to her end the same way, they haven't received anything.
As of today Sept 20, 2006 I still haven't received my money, my phone calls to SIA customer support seem futile, everytime I call in I have to explain my situation and I get the same reply:
"our records show this transaction as settled"
I have contacted josh at sportsbookreview and he has also inquired on my behalf.
Subsequent emails to SIA are met with the reply that they are asking their "processor" to start an investigation.
I'm told this can take "up to 5-10 BUSINESS days". Don't they use email/computers? What takes 5-10 business days?
Since I'm having these problems I've attempted to withdraw the remaining Can$133.55 from my SIA account, I requested this on Sep 13, 2006. Nothing received yet.
I will update as things happen, I'm very thankful for Josh acting on my behalf, although it is not yet resolved.
