#37Originally posted by WileOutActually I don't think Bush really had anything to do with it. He signed the Port Security Bill to protect the ports from terrorists. The fact that Bill Frist and John Kyle had attached the UIGEA to it in the middle of the night meant nothing to Bush. It was all about signing to protect the ports.
Not to say that Bush is for gambling but I don't think he really had much to do with UIGEA.Comment -

#38Originally posted by ico2525Yes, but the president has the right to line-item veto. Internet gambling was discussed on the floor of Congress for a month before the legislation was signed. The Port Safety Act could have easily been singed into law without the UIGEAComment -

#40Hands down YOUWAGER has higher limits online or via landline. Bookmaker has smaller limits online. Phone lines are based upon how they feel during the day.
Greek, are you kidding me? Go on their site check the limits not high at all.Comment -

#4720Four7, LT profits is correct. There are no limits at Matchbook.
While there is no guarantee of getting your order filled, there is indeed no limit to the amount you can wager on any given game.
If you are willing to pay even 2-3 cents off the market, you would have very little problem getting fillled for $100,000 or more on any NFL, MLB or NBA game as long as you place the order within 10 minutes of the event starting.Comment -

#48You, of course aren't guaranteed anything at matchbook. But, my experience, as Andy suggests, is no matter whats offered at matchbook, if you take it, a new offer will generally replace it instantly. The nice thing is, as long as you aren't betting anywhere else at the same time, or chasing a move, the odds probably won't move much if at all, so you can get down again ( assuming someone posts another offer, which usually happens) at a similar price.
This of course limits you to betting into sharp lines on major sports which is of little interest to me generally.
I wonder how the OP did with his chase system. I'm really starting to love those things.Comment
