no they did not save me money. I lost the $19 that was accepted! The $20 that was "declined" WAS TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT PERMISSION! and now they added the $20 to my account and ask me to wager it! What kind of business model takes from from you that you did NOT want taken, and then FORCE YOU to spend that money with them?
I would disassemble my mountain dew soda can christmas tree and recycle it to get you your money back but Ive come so far in the project. Sorry to hear about the 20

Also, they didn't steal your money, it as a simple error and the money was credited back to you. If you want to talk about getting robbed then ask me how betting 5k on both v.tech and oklahoma and laying a 5k parlay on them went...all my hopes and dreams down the drain...alll my hard work gone...

agreed. Why even deposit that small of amount. If your crunching pennies that much then you can afford to play.

IMO doesn't matter if its 20 or 20K if they take the deposit they should do the right thing for the customer! Heritage is a well run book and OP can be sure they will rectify the situation!

If you are still confused:
1. book takes money out of your bank account by mistake
2. the book (eventually) puts the money into your sportsbook account
3. they say that they cannot put the money back into your bank account/onto your card
For some reason, morons here see no problem with this. It's not a difficult issue to understand.
Yes.
1. He wanted to deposit
2. The initial deposit of $20..the processor authorized it, but it did not go through (you cant tell if it went through until it posts to the account..very common for it to authorize but not go through) and it showed DECLINED to the CS rep
3. There is a small % fee taken out with certain cards so the CS rep tried for $19 instead to try and get the deposit through for the client
4. After sending in his statement to verify (smart of the book to verify they arent going to give out free money) and before they even know if the authorization will drop off they credit his account with the extra $20 (takes days not hour to see if it posts to the account)
5. After getting further correspondence from the client they give him a freeplay for the trouble.. perhaps that processor does not allow refunds to the card..certainly not unusual
The only thing the rep could/should have asked is "The $20 was declined, do you want me to try for $19"? perhaps they did and we didnt get the full story. who knows
either way because this whole process took "6 hours" or whatever he claims Heritage "stole his $20"

The insanity of this dude just forced me to make my first post ever. I'm the poorest scumbag I know, but I'm still able to afford to blow almost 100 dollars a night trying to drink myself to death.

Why shouldn't this be a legitimate complaint, just because it's $20 and not $1000?
Opportunity cost.
