What did the check look like? If it wasn't written in crayon I imagine they tried to run it and it came back NSF.

Has anyone had any recent success/failure with this method from BOL? It would be good to know if they have a processor issue affecting many payouts (which of course happens from time to time at many books) or this was an isolated incident.

Sorry for your trouble but I would recommend never writing checks on a deposit from a book until at least a week or more to make sure the funds are good.

I would recommend never getting checks period... I hate paying 60,70 bucks for ** or ** withdrawals, but its worth it to h ave the cash in hand..

It might be worth it to you, but not to me or others. This is more of a personal opinion type of issue.

You are correct--it was filtered into my junk email. As I said earlier, the check was deposited Monday and it was rejected Friday. The bank is still in possession of this check so taking it to another branch, as you suggested, isn't viable right now. BTW, the email was from you, so does that mean you are handling my complaint?

It looked like a regular check, from a western US bank (I don't want to be too specific).
