    BetOnline's CEO Leaves
Gambling 911 who markets BetOnline broke the news that Clive Archer BOL's
CEO has left the company. With payouts slowing down and Alex disappearing
    this news is troublesome.

Archer, for those of you who don't know was high level manager for BOS.

BetOnline, the fastest growing sportsbook in the US, today announced the departure of Clive Archer.

Clive and G911 have always been pretty good friends. We had a real rough time with him at BOS but came to know him better after he left. I'm sure the higher ups have been disappointed in some of the operation performances over there. This looks like when a team doesnt perform and the coach gets canned.

So the team at Betonline has been performing poorly enough for their coach to get canned and we have not seen a single one of the many complaints here lately make the newswire nor have we seen the much deserved rating downgrade.

I can't wait to see the Betphoenix style burial Betonline receives when they stop cutting checks to SBR for protection.

            very good point

I guess its like a team canning its coach but the team is still in the middle of the playoffs!

                Hey Guys

                Yup, still here!

The owners had taken a step back a couple of years ago from the business and brought Clive and a couple other execs to run things. A few months ago, some of the investors were able to step back in, ante-up for poker, ramp up CC processing and expand the stage significantly (adding Live, improving tennis and soccer, higher limits, etc.). With that increased involvement, Clive's role was naturally changed.

The company's is in its best financial condition that it has EVER been in (I know, I actually see the numbers). The recent spate of payout issues is not a matter of cashflow, a processor blew up. Makes it problematic for us all; hence the delays. I haven't been participating in those threads as it it being handled as promptly and competently as it can be by the head of player services and all I would say is "the players WILL get paid. Always do."

I actually anticipate some very exciting and welcome news from the firm as we look to further expand our presence in the market. Watch this space; we'll announce it here first.

                Cheers

The latest news Alex posted were about the lightning fast payouts. Can't wait for the next headline.

Thanks for chiming in Alex, don't be a stranger!

I know we're not supposed to discuss payout methods here (although they are mentioned everywhere these days), so I'll ask in general... could you post (here or on the SOL site or via e-mail or PM) the current time frames for various payout methods much like you did when you announced the new quicker time frames last month? Thanks a bunch!

I'm totally understanding of books losing processors leading to delays, I just wish books would update their expected payout time frames (as best they can) when these processor issues occur.

I used to think that the processor problems were just delay tactics. 5dimes is also having them in one aspect of their payouts. In lieu of that, I have altered my opinion...things happen.

Yes I agree with this view. The problem is payout speed is no longer a good tell on book's financial situation. I like what BetOnline offers and hope it is not a BetEd type.

Well, my two checks both took more than 1 month for delivery by courier. More funny thing is that one of my payout request showed "waiting supervisor authorization" for more than one month and then became "canceled" for no reason. What are the odds for those?

Unfortunately there isn't a book that hasn't faced this... including all of the books at top of this forum. Each seems to take a turn with this every year or two. A lot of times it is not widespread and the forum doesn't hear about it.

It's definitely much harder to gauge. In the old days, a book didn't process it's Neteller in two business days and you had reason to say wtf. Now you have to look at bigger things like the size of the payout and how long they have been waiting. Are they like methods? Even a scam broke book will trip over itself to pay a 5 teamer parlay guy who is waiting for $400. WSEX problems started with a processor and as more people asked for their funds, they became exposed as insolvent.
