Or when the account reaches a certain limit like 5 digits? From a players' perspective, of course this is a disadvantage, but shouldn't this make it possible for a book to make better offers to players in respect of lines and payout times? Of course the lines and limits should be so good and high that the gain from shopping between books is limited.

In this way books can avoid that players withdraw pocket change (like <1k) several times a week.

Why don't any books do this? Would you play there (as a US player of course as it makes no sense to non-americans) if the lines were among the "best" in the market and limits were high?

people already bitch about payouts - any additional limits wouldn't fly.

Some US facing Books can only do P2P which is chump change by your definition. I'd like to maintain the option of getting my "allowance" weekly rather than just monthly.

if someone tells me they limit me to 1 payout per month, i would never deposit there. chump change less then 1000 is a lot for some. I personally am not tht addicted to gambling that i wont quit. Imagine if you had a bank that says you can only take out money once a month. Remember this is your money even though its in a book. Quite honestly i have came to a point that if you cant get me my money in 2 days, i wont play there. I stopped playing online poker 3 years ago because of this. I will easily quit sportsbook betting the same way. If books cant pay or limit paying then they should close their doors. If they can take my deposit in minutes I should be able to get my money in a couple days. I could see the uproar if you went to a window in vegas with a winning ticket and they say sorry we are going make you wait 3 days to collect this. We need to make some interest on this first.

people would also withdraw more if they knew it was their only shot -it's not in the interest of the book

Monthly would be just fine, if all payouts are prompt then.
I would not care about players who want to cash out all the time in the current state of the industry, for books like Pinny this is obviously different as they still allow Neteller and stuff, here they can give as many cashouts as they want.

But US books should make it easier for themselves, a player who doesn't understand that this is illegal now and helps the books is not worthwile anyway.
