Bodog takes a shot at me, joke of a book

Really disgusted by what Bodog has done to me. I made a deposit via DBT and won a fairly small amount. After 2 weeks of the deposit pending, the deposit did not go through.

No clue why, I had plenty of money in the account and aside from some sort of bank or processing error, cannot see why it didn't go through.

Anyways, they zeroed out my account with no explanation other than, "The deposit did not go through." I offered to make another deposit with a different method but they pretty much said too bad, your not getting your winnings back.

The sad part is If I had lost the money I would have had to pay them back, as they told me so. Since I won, they are voiding everything with no further explanation.

I am posting this just to warn you guys not to use this shot taking book. There are tons of other books out there that value their players like Pinnacle. I have read tons of other stories about Bodog doing stuff like this and I guess It's my fault for still playing with them.

Anyways, I will be filing a complaint with SBR so hopefully they can help me.

That's bogus. SBR should help you out if indeed there was no explanation as to why your deposit failed. What a scam.

You were put in a no win situation here. I havent used BoDog for 3 years after it took them 45 days to get a check to me on a w/d. I was done with them after that and never looked back.

the_situation....the EXACT same thing happened to a friend of mine. They voided the winnings claiming "the deposit didn't go through". All the documents were verified and approved, yet they still gave the shaft and rendered ZERO compensation or credits to the account. If the wagers would have lost, like you said you can be sure they would've been asking for their money back. Not cool

Hopefully Becky can look into this without a formal complaint being filed..

Update on the situation:

It seems Bodog is giving me the run around. I sent them the Bank Statement that they asked for.

First they said they can't see my name on the statement when it is clearly on there. Now they saying they can't open the picture and to send it in JPG format. The funny thing is I DID send it in JPG format and how can they say they can't open it when the already told me they did and my name isn't on there (when it is.) This makes no sense.

This has been going on for a few days now and it's painfully obvious what they are trying to do. It's truly pathetic. Hopefully SBR or Becky can help me here.

so many better books than bodog no offense to becky....at least she makes herself available and tries......i suggest Legends or betislands....fast friendly payouts and very courteous service and representatives

I will speak with CS management right now and see what is going on, but honestly, not one person under the bodog brand umbrella would ever want to screw a customer in any way. I have no doubt that these are honest comments from the CS rep, however I will find out for sure and update this thread (and the_situation) asap.

No want wants to screw customers but they deal dual lines to screw customers and also deal one sided prop lines where you can bet the bad side, but if you bet the good side you get the "line has changed" move and it moves 10 or 15 cents. Bodog screws customers more than any other major book, unless you consider BetUS a major book.
