    SportsInteraction receives Gaming Associates audit certificate
    SportsInteraction receives Gaming Associates audit certificate

    On July 22nd, SBR reported that SportsInteraction (SBR rating B+) successfully completed an audit inspection performed by Gaming Associates; the regulatory compliance auditor for the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC). The four day inspection was a thorough review into the SportsInteraction (SIA) finances and operations, trading and risk management, infrastructure, data security and more. Following the successful audit, a process took course to grant SportsInteraction with an official audit certificate from Gaming Associates.

    SportsInteraction's rating has been upgraded to B+ within the SBR sportsbook ratings guide. SportsInteraction is a fully licensed sportsbook operating out of Kahnawake, Canada, and has been online since 1997. | SportsInteraction audit certificate

        @bigboydan,

        I've read some of your past (years prior) posts very useful and informative. Did you take a hiatus or what was your reasoning in returning? (IMO no one took your place with the info. you provide as a Mod)

          I'm glad to hear you enjoy my previous body of work, sir.

          I took many factors into account when I retired from the industry back in early 2009. In fact it was Mr.Lou who reached out to me via a phone call about a possible return. After a few phone calls and thinking it over as well as the current state of the industry I came to the conclusion that the players might be in need of my assistance once again. So here I am.

            Hi BBD I am Johnny, nice to meet you. Can I ask, what is it specifically you feel you can provide?

                I think you're a huge asset to SBR in general, specifically in the sportsbook & industry sublet here. Some want to dumb down the forum as much as possible (which isn't that hard mind you) and for other SBR reps. their focus naturally is on what makes SBR $$$$ first and foremost. I believe there is a need for someone to help keep newer and older players alike abreast of info. pertaining to the industry. I guess in comparison I have seen very little from other mods in this area once I joined 2 and a half short years ago. Welcome back!

                  BBD,

                  I am new here and do not know your history at all. An answer to JohnnyC's question would be much appreciated. TIA

                    So, lets see, in theory, only natives managed business can be developed there, but those limitations can be removed by simply having someone on the board, paying a tribute, etc, etc, so yes, they pay a lot of money so they can be there. I will definitely expect to get a good review/qualification if i'm doing that.

                    It is like paying an advertisement deal here, and not putting me as a B+ book at least.

                      It's like if your brother was an IRS agent and he audited your tax return, or your brother was in charge of counting votes in your election. A finding in your favor is not going to get much respect.

                        You're too kind sir

                        I don't feel management tried to dumb down this section at all actually. I feel it was more of a issue with having the man power to maintain it to the standards most SBR posters have grown accustomed to over the years during my last tenure. Now even though I have many more behind the scenes duties this time around I will most definitely do my best to keep everyone well informed the very best I can to bring this section back to it's glory days. Until I can achieve that goal the old timers know they can always PM me in order to obtain the answers they are seeking in a very prompt type fashion just like in the old days.
