    JustBet's Attempt to Shaft Me
Any input here would be greatly appreciated...I'm not sure what my "rights" are here, but I also filed a complaint with SBR.

I deposited $1500 with Just Bet in August, and was awarded $1200 in free play bonuses. The rollover requirement was listed as 8x balance and any winnings resulting from the freeplay. After the freeplay was used Just Bet informed me my total rollover requirement was appox. $32,000. I was also told my limits would not be collared until the rollover was complete. I played consistently betting baseball and football and eventually increased my balance to just under $10,000. With my current status of about $24K bet...Just Bet cut my limits from $2K max bet to $250 max bet. They informed me that I was a "non-recreational" player and needed my limits collared. I would gladly take my money, but they said the remaining rollover amount would not be waived. I see this as a blatant attempt to prevent me from completing my rollover requirement and withdrawing my funds. I never chased steam, and I consistently bet lines that were worse than the closing line. All I want are my limits back to what I was promised or my funds sent to me.

Do I have any viable claim here?

Also...here is my chat log with their "supervisor"

Please wait for a site operator to respond.
You are now chatting with 'Frank'
Frank: Hello, how may I assist you?
******: Hi, may I speak to a supervisor please?
    Frank: Account and password please?
    ******:
Frank: I can perhaps assist you?
    Frank: what is this regarding?
******: I already spoke with a CS rep and I was told I needed to speak to a supervisor
Frank: Please, give me a moment.
Please wait while I transfer the chat to 'Greg'.
You are now chatting with 'Greg'
Greg: Hello, how may I assist you?
******: Good afternoon Greg...I was informed this morning that my limits have been collared because I have been classified as a "pro player." The problem I have with the collared limits is that I was approaching my rollover completion...which will now be near impossible to obtain in reasonable time with the new lower limits
******: I wanted to speak with you and try and work something out before I consulted with sportsbook review
******: I have lost money here in the past (last year I think) and am by no means a professional
******: Can we work something out please?
Greg: Limits have been lowered by management
Greg: I do apologize but you will have to use these for now
******: I understand that...but I find this very unreasonable and a blatant attempt to prevent me from completing my rollover requirement
******: If you do not want my action I understand...but this is not the proper way to do this
Greg: You can keep the account, you can still play with us
Greg: If you complete the rollover of course you will get your funds
******: I do not wish to keep my account if I will be limited when i win
******: If my action is unwanted...waive my remaining rollover requirement and I will gladly go elsewhere
******: I was ensured when I deposited that my limits would not be in danger until i completed the rollover
    ******: this seems very decietful
******: I understand if you do not want my action. I have no problems with this...I will gladly go elsewhere.
Greg: I do apologize, you will have to play with the limits you have now
******: Why exactly have my limits been lowered?
Greg: You are not considered a recreational player
Greg: If you want high roller action you will have to go somewhere else
******: What exactly classifies me as this?
    ******: As a "non-recreational" player?
    Greg: Yes
******: what classifies me as this?
******: I was betting within the limits
Greg: We are recreational book, you are not a recreational player
    ******: based on what?
    Greg: Beating the line constantly
******: I haven't chased steam, I've bet lines that are worse than the closing. I do not understand what "beating the line constantly" means
    ******: Please explain
    ******: ?
Greg: Limits lowered by risk management
Greg: They will not be increased
Greg: You have been beating the house constantly
    Greg: You are over $7k
******: Ok, then let me withdraw my funds and I will play elsewhere
******: I have no problems with that
    Greg: Sounds good
******: So what methods are available for withdraw?
    Greg: Cash transfers, money orders
    ******: what are the fees?
Greg: Cash transfers have a $66 fee max for $750
Greg: Money orders will be sent for free once a month
******: So to fully withdraw what should I use in this case?
    ******: never done either before
Greg: Money orders, will be sent directly to your house
******: So I can request to withdraw my entire balance via moneyorder?
    Greg: Yes
******: If I do that today...what would be the estimated fees and length of time?
Greg: First one of the month is free
Greg: You will receive it in 7-10 business days aprox.
******: Okay let's go ahead and do that now then for my entire balance. Will my pending bet be honored or is that going to be canceled and returned?
Greg: Payouts won't be processed on weekeds
Greg: Please contact us MOnday- Friday
Greg: From 6 to 12 pacific time
******: Can't I just request it now and have it processed on monday? I would rather it be done by you, a supervisor, especially since you are waiving the remaining rollover requirement.
Greg: You will have to complete the playthrough
******: I thought you just agreed to cash me out completely?
Greg: After you complete the rollover you will get the funds
******: If that is the case and my limits are still going to be collared I will contact SBR then
******: I thought we just came to an agreement
Greg: Limits will stay at what they are know
******: Okay, I will contact SBR then
Greg: Contact us when you are done with playthrough, we will submit the payout request for you
******: I will contact SBR first to see what they have to say first. I want to get a third-party's advice
    Greg: Ok
******: give me a call if anything changes

Rollover should be cut by the same % as limits were cut. SBR supports this position but only when it doesn´t involve sponsor books, so you are probably out of luck. How they hell did you get 2k limits there in the first place? My account started at $500 and was cut to $250.

Idk...my limits just started out at $2K. I figured that was just the norm I guess...

I just spoke with Dwight from JB...he seems like a real straight guy. He is going to call me back tomorrow but he thinks they may make an exception in this case. I'll keep you guys posted.

I'm glad I posted here though because it got Dwight's attention and he contacted me. Before Dwight...nobody would deal with me. Kept getting the run around.

complete BS by book, if they are not going to allow you to withdraw your full balance with these new mickey mouse limits they set for you, then you should no longer have to meet the rollover... they are the ones that broke the agreement and trying everything in their power to screw you over. I understand risk mgt. and every book needs to do it, I have no problem with this, but why not just allow you to withdraw your funds and play elsewhere. Straight BS IMO.

Thanks Dan. Hopefully with you guys and Dwight working with me we can come to a resolution.

I don't wanna trash the book yet either, because other than this they have been great...and pending what Dwight comes up with, I've never really had any problems.

The only thing that pissed me off sorely (and big time might I add)...was near the end of the chat where that sneaky douchebag Greg tries to trick me into thinking I can withdraw just to get me off his back. Complete bullshit on his part. prick.

                          GoBlue23,

I spoke this AM with our Risk Manager, there was a mistake on OUR PART of not documenting that the wager limits were decreased; with this we automatically forfeit the rollover amount to any freeplay money given.

The CS agent was simply doing his job, since there was no proper notification of this occuring.

I do apologize for the inconvenience and feel free to contact CS tomorrow to request your PO.

You are still entitled to keep the FP money and any winnings off of it.

This goes for any other customer that files under this category.

I might open an account with justbet after this. Get a free play with a huge roll over and just play any steam bet possible. Then when they cut my limits I can just cash out. Nice!

Actually I wasn't chasing steam at all. In fact, when I spoke to Dwight yesterday he specificaly said that my account records showed no history of steam-chasing. And I already completed 80% of my 32K rollover requirement when they cut my limits.

I may troll and make stupid comments using baseless facts after this. Say stupid shit and know nothing about the story or what I'm talking about. Nice!
