Sorry, rephrasing it a bit in response to why you think it still makes sense to bet with BetFair and why 6 years ago I already made up my mind to do it no longer given the situation back then, you can find the reasons in that thread. I am a very keen price shopper and my Betfair turnover accounts for a very significant part of my total annual turnover every year. That simply would not be the case if they didn't have the odds and liquidity to make them more attractive enough of the time.
Yes they have shot themselves in the foot with this premium charge horror which has turned so many people off them but for those not subject to it they remain the best all round place to bet.Comment -

I would rate them C+. A is plainly ridiculous at this point. The HR scandal alone required at least a small downgrade, to B+ or whatever, plus then the Russian fella owed 3 million. But nothing.
There's no point in having ratings if ratings have no meaning. If Betfair had an incestuous relationship with SBR, like EZ and the RX, I'd at least understand it. It looks more like the ratings system was written, then left to take care of itself.Comment -
