American names as the point of contact for Person to Person transfers?

This is a serious question. I feel silly and suspicious going to my ** teller and sending money to Diego Carlos Sanchez-Vellapparra when I'm a middle-aged white dude.

I'm looking to post up somewhere today so any help would be appreciated. I recall one place that had more American sounding names but that was quite some time ago.

i only use p2p for dep. and with. and done it ALOT...to tell ya the truth ive NEVER seen an american name..lol...thats wont happen, but the tellers could care less who ur sending/recieving money from....BTW..ive never had a single problem sending or recieving money via p2p method in 10years of usuing these methods....its the safest and easiest way to go..IMO

My issue is not that I am a racist who don't trust foreign names, my issue is I live in a small town and If I get the same customer service rep over and over and I am sending money to names such as the one I used in my example, it looks really suspicious and I don't want to get flagged.

also more expensive to do it online...just pay the 9.95 at ur local wally world..its simple...but the names dont matter at all...nobody at these business care u any1 sends/recieves money from

Use xxxx xxx online with p2p provider. If you use a book like betislands they cover your fees.

I get what the op is saying, if you live in a small town, it looks very weird you are sending hundreds to central america.

Some of my fave reasons if someone gets too nosey:

-its for an orphanage my cgurch sponsors
- its for our landscaper, sending money home to his family
- I work for the local minor league baseball team and help out the players wiring money
- I'm paying for an excursion on a cruise we are taking this year to panama
-i just bought artwork from an artist in central america

Or you can always drive 30 minutes to the next walmart from yours.

Fortunately (first time I have ever said that), I now live in a highly hispanic populated area now. No one bats an eye sending hundreds to anyone with 2 last names.

I've had people ask me before why I am sending to Guatemala or Honduras or wherever the money needs to be sent. I usually say its for my girlfriend and/or her family. Never had problems at all. I like the landscaper idea though too, people won't bat an eye on that one. Buying artwork would work too, just say you have an interest in Central/Southern American art.
