When you use a Freeplay, and the game pushes, do you get the freeplay money back?

I put in quite a few bets today, and lost track of my "Free Play Balance." I put $25 bucks on the Cowboys -3, and they won by 3 (therefore a push). Do I get that $25 bucks put back in my freeplay balance, or is it gone?

Books tend to vary in their rules but most I think would say you've lost your freeplay.
Lesson #1: always read the rules before electing for and using a freeplay
Lesson #2: don't use a freeplay on a possible push bet.
