I've seen a ton of complaint about BetOnline.....has anyone not been paid? I appreciate the CS issues but are they at least paying? I was exclusively with greek for years and still depressed they wont take US players. I am also with Legends/5Dimes/Bookmaker....to be honest Legends CS has been GREAT!!! Does betonline suck that bad??

BetOnline (SBR Rated B+) has been fairly good about paying as of late however, some posters have had problems with payouts via Moneybookers and Neteller payments. Now last Sunday they did suffer a severe DDOS attack and it pretty much crippled them for the early football games but, they were taking phone wagering though.Comment -

You'll have a very hard time finding a player who did NOT get paid by BetOnline. We always pay,always have, always will.
"And it'll always be late" I'm sure some guys will add. Not true--but occasionally and boy do we hear about it here when it is.
But great live in-game betting, higher limits than anyone, top bonuses, imaginary NFL/NCAA FB match-ups, sharp lines and we don't even kick winners out!
If we're not one of your outs you're missing out.

Their poker site is bunk.
Do not play on this site. You will possibly never get your money back.
Problems:
1. Not being able to play when in a tourney.
2. Not able to see you cards
3. Unable to play a hand, founding them automatically
4. Site timing out and folding your hand.
5. You win a hand, and it doesn't transfer to your account.
6. Hand history shows another players history instead of yours
7. Site was down the next day after I had a reported the issues above.
8. Support gave me a runaround and didn’t credit me for any of my losses.
9. Not able to transfer funds out my poker wallet to sportbook wallet.
10. Unable to get cashier to give what is left in my account.
11. You have to emails the cashier to withdraw from the site.
12. The site is super slow
13. Support is very slow to respond
14. Cashing out is a nightmare

Thank you for the responses- seems like a mixed bag. I hear they have improved payout options so I will continue to give them a shot. I will follow up with my experience. I play poker on this site every single day. Here's what's really up.
1. No idea what that even means.
2. You obviously can see your cards. Only issue I've seen is if you change your seat at the table (right click on the desired seat and click 'Sit Here') sometimes it lags for a couple seconds.
3 and 4. This is the only real issue I've run into on this site. Often times, particularly when changing your seat location (as mentioned above), resizing windows, or tiling windows, the application crashes. I run the MAC software, so I just assume the issue is worse for the Mac software.
5. Completely false.

I saw the new payouts today. I have been with BOL for about 3 years now and also have an account with 5dimes. I am a small player, so asked for a small payout via one of the money wire services. The chart said the fees were "free" and 1/week. There was some language about a fee for $34 to $185 applies. I assumed that was for additional withdrawals for more than 1/week. Withdrawal was put in yesterday morning. I checked it again and it was pending. The amount was right and there was no fee. I checked again last night before going to bed. Still pending, no fee. Today I check and the withdrawal has been processed and a fee of $49 was assessed. Now, I'm not being cheap here, I was trying to figure out what exactly BOL meant with free fee. Upon asking, this was a fee from the money wire service. As of this writing, I still have not received the information on how to get my money. I wanted to cancel the transaction, but was told I could not. The $49 would be charged to me. I am pretty incensed about all this and want BOL to fix the problem. They said they would get back to me.
Still not sure how any of this is free. I am completely confused and still waiting on my money. Hopefully this will resolve itself and I will be able to post that here.Comment -

One other thing. The "new" betonline procedures did have book-to-book transfers as free and unlimited. I asked for a book-to-book transfer and the online customer service gave me a graduated level of fees. This was followed by betonline taking this option off their payout menu.Comment -
Okay, I just received a credit for the $49 for the confusion. Betonline was quick to fix this problem. They said it was something to do with the charts being in the wrong format and will be trying to fix this. Thanks to betonline for responding to the problem!Comment -

I listed to an interview with David Mason the other day when I was at work. For those of you who do not know, Dave is the brand manager for BetOnline. Now as a brand manager you are supposed to market and promote a specific product, I understand that, but the questions he answered were all the wrong answers. Without actually admitting it he more so admitted to taking a gamble allowing US Players. He was asked the question a couple of times and never had the slightest concrete answer for it. When faced with the question of a backup plan to anything that may happen he said something along the lines of, we will have one when it gets there. Rather then answering the questions which I really wanted to know, he pumped the interview full of promos and claims for his sportsbook. I am not saying he did wrong, but the way he answered some of the key questions surrounding the issues that we and all books are all apart of in the industry, he lacked information, confidence and clarity. Just right there makes me suspicious and the fact that I too have read reports of slow pays and no pays, makes this book for me a stay away.Comment -
