#37This guy had $250,000 offshore BEFORE his $150,000 parlay hit?? Interesting...
Nice hit, but it seems like $150K is just pocket change for this guy.Comment -

It was only a 30/1 parlay... why would he go bananas unless he was some goose who had gone all in on it??
Like he said, it's not a life changing amount, he's got around double that in his bankroll to start.
Nice win though..Comment -

#39why is it difficult for people to understand that some people bet more or less than they do? It is really funny to see the reactions when they see somebody complain because they have a dispute over a 20euro bet. "I would never bet my lunch money" "you should buy some food for that" etc. They just do not understand that 20euro is 2-3 days of work in some countries. And now it is even funnier, we have some rich guy who bet 5000 to win 150000. and he does not get overexcited. so, just think, if you bet 2% of your bankroll, let us say 20 and you win 600 would it be a lifechanging amount for you?
or the people who say that they would NEVER bet 5000 on a parlay? come on, if you had 100 millions would you really continue betting 20 bucks per game?Comment -

this guy threw 5k on 7-team parlay because it is no big deal for him.
i'd say being allowed to bet high numbers indicates he is profitable customer for the book historically. a pro would never bet DSI juiced parlay with 5k.
and of course - congrats for the win.Comment -

#41here is what seems weird to me about this story...
he said he hedged his bet with jets -6
so why would he be nervous on the last drive about the jets getting a TD?
wouldnt it mean a half win on the parlay and a full win with the hedge if they did score a TD?
did he only hedge 10% or something?Comment -

#42What a bunch of BS...... I was nervous but I already hedged? WTF? I have a $250,000 bankroll. Let me guess on one book lol.
Books don't like hedging. I was told by 5 dimes that they don't allow it. And they would use it as an out to not pay you. You hedge at different books period for an amount that high. Books would F you.
This is all BS marketing from this book.Comment -

#50This seems tough to believe unless this guy is a multi-millionaire throwing money around (which he most likely is)
Who would not hedge in this situation Jets Moneyline? If you have enough outs and a ton of money you would have to be crazy not to.Comment -

#56Dell Dude, I've been asked to fill in for Butch until October for final says. I don't really know all the characters of this sitcom as I rarely read your stuff. But what I have stumbled upon is pretty disturbing. How old are you Dell Dude? You gotta be pushing 40. You live in your parent's basement, right? With your cat. Who you've apparently taken the posting persona of. What does your mom and dad say when people ask how you're doing? Yeah, Joe posts and gambles as a cat named Cwissy on the internet. I'm sure they must be very proud. You make my nephew look not so bad in comparison. He's just a thief. You're a cat. What more needs to be said, really. Good luck with all that Mister C.A.T. The money's in the litter box.

#62to dump 2% of your bankroll on some extreme parlay long shot sounds like piss poor bankroll management to me, regardless if the guy staked 1 or 5000 bucks.Comment -

Congrats to him as well.
