BTCSportsBet Not Taking New England action.
I am not sure if any of you care about BitCoin Sportsbooks, anyhow I have had good interaction with BTCSportsBet as far as moneytransfers within the hour and good lines.
But today i tried to put some money down on Patriots -7 and they wont take the bet (any amount). I sent them a letter, they replied with the following:

Hello - due to risk management procedures that wager is currently unavailable. It may reopen before gametime but we suggest betting games as early as possible to prevent this in the future.

Why don't they just move the line? I can see where they may not want to take a 10k bet.. but this all action.

Anyone else experience this at other books?

That book sucks. They have no backing, and are techies not bookies.

BTCSportsBet (Not Rated) has been around since January. They offer straight bets only and no parlays so needless to say it's built for the recreational type player and even though it's rather relatively new still I feel this might have some potential with the right guidance behind it. So I'm not ruling it as a scam type thing at all just yet gentlemen.

It could be they just couldn't get too lopsided at a small shop. They might be trying to lay if off right now and open it back up before game time. The bookie at your local bar will do it too. Better they do that than take a big hit and not be able to pay people tomorrow.

Any book who won't take action on the square side of a MNF game is not the sort of book where you want to play. Anyone who liked New England had all week to take -6.5, not to mention the lower lines available several weeks ago, so if they're refusing to just move the line to -7.5 and take even worse donk action, they'll surely go out of business if they're turning down that sort of free money.

-7!... I put it on on -4.5, it is always good to wait a bit.

They should have just made the line -7.5 -120 like RebateWager did. If they got anyone taking that line, they should allow their action for life.

First off, Welcome to the SBRforum

When did you signup at this establishment? While 3 hours is a bit long it's not out of the ordinary either. I'll see what all I can find out about this book and report my finding within this thread when I do sir.

im posting this in here bc i think the owner of btcsportsbet posts here. i made another deposit yesterday afternoon into my account of around 7.5 bitcoins.

I have over one hundred confirmations but have not had my account credited. The contact us link is currently not working for me on the btcsportsbet website. So i can not send them an email.

I haven't had a problem with them. My BTC deposit was credited after 1 confirmation, and my withdraw was almost instant. I just wish there was a full-service sportsbook that allowed BTC transfers. I don't like the idea of storing value in BTC, but I think its a great idea for moving money. I don't see why the books are avoiding BTC altogether. It seems like a perfect solution for US players. Their risk is negligible as long as they are not holding BTC.
