    Officially Leaving Betonline
My story real quick. Been using them for roughly 3 years. In the beginning had a great experience with them but lately they have really fallen off. Todays disaster was the last straw. So I am looking for a new sportsbook that works with U.S. Customers. Who are you guys using? I have not had problems depositing with a card so a book that allows that is preferred.

Yes I'm looking for another book that accepts CC deposits as well. I'm leaving 5dimes and don't want to deal with BOL as well. I'm currently using bodog, love their site/CS but their line stinks....

Apparently, the servers couldn't handle their "unprecedented growth". Last year it was IT issues. This year, it is IT and CS issues. What a shame -- they have so much potential.

                  Officially from BetOnline:

                  NFL Sunday

On Sunday, September 11th, BetOnline experienced significant technical difficulties when their Internet Service Provider was attacked with a sophisticated 3.5 gig Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack. This attack caused BetOnline to be unavailable for an extended period of time. We understand that several other companies were also impacted.
We apologize to our players who were unable to get through on the phones or online. We have made changes to mitigate against future occurrences of this nature, will continue to harden our defenses and we are back online for our players now.
                  Thank you

DoS have happened to a number of other books as well...

Don't they have a mirror site? If you really needed to get down I'm sure you could have always called in bets as well...

Isn't that the truth Baus. Here it is 9/11/11 and on the 10th anniversary of the twin towers attacks we now have had 3 books that experienced the ddos attacks today (BetOline, Bookmaker and JustBet).

Betonline is a good book overall, and they did apologize for today's problems which were really the fault of criminals trying to extort money from them

DOS attacks are pretty common . "A" rated books aware of DOS attacks so to prevent them they have build a bigger pipes , and just in case mirror sites . PLS don't tell me BOL got cut by the surprise .

Shit book shit costumer service . Totally incompetent book .

Also opening Sunday of the NFL season... I have my doubts that either the books or the likely extorters really give a rat's ass if it was the tenth anniversary of 9/11 or not as long as the monetary payments come in...

While, at the very least, they should have mirrors if memory serves me right hasn't even books of the level of pinnacle had this problems in the past?
