Considering that ties are a win and that unlike 5dimes they don't juice the favorites and even on those that 5Dimes does not juice if you were to place a teaser that ties are a win the payout is way less than BetIslands.

ABCislands (SBR Rated D+) offers the same thing sir. Then again both books are using the Jazz family of books facilities to service there customers.

Mr. Acarmelo1, The math experts would disagree with your comments in regards to your thoughts on teasers being square like wagers. So I'm sure those types of players love BetIslands (SBR Rated B-) for this rule surrounding teasers.

Abc and jazz do not offer the same thing anymore. It´s not 2003 anymore Dan.

I also think ABC/Jazz is too risky for my money.

As of this season, ties no longer win on ABC/Jazz teasers. Agree that BI is one of the best outs for teaser players.

Way too risky........ but BetIslands, who is using the Jazz software, but not part of the Jazz group is a good place with a lot of perks and gimmicks. Jon formerly of WagerChief is running the operation, and doing it well.

I had "ties win" thru last year at ABC. It was changed just prior to this year's football and my straight action cut to $300 max. Like you, I have a chunk of dough tied up there and am getting paid slower than I like. Hoping to zero them out before the end of football. With BI, I no longer need ABC.

                            Whats wrong crossing the 0?

Both San Diego and Jets saved me on the teasers.

I've heard this for a long time and generally follow the rule. But for the life of me, I can't recall why it's a no-no. Maybe google could help?

Because 0 is dead number, wasting a point without gaining any win rate from it. But if you handicap teams, it may not apply.

Also, 1 and 2 are nearly dead numbers too and by crossing 0, you'll have one or both a second time. This makes for crossing a possible five poor #s (-2, -1, 0 +1,+2).
