    books afraid of tennis bets?
without giving the store away, can anyone help me out specifically (in a PM) as to what exactly has books scared of getting hurt with tennis (other than any other sport)?

    quote from Jon at BetIslands:
I will answer this the most honest way possible , tennis is a sport that a sportsbook can get hurt booking it our low limits for this sport are there for risk management once we get to know the player I will look at their accounts if they request higher limits and get back to them.

Thanks-- after i understand i can edit post into the benign

Well also, not everybody bets on obscure tennis matches. So they may have a one sided game.

Where like 7 people take the same guy and only 1 dude take the other guy.

And it is a risk for the Book to have action like that.

The same reason as for any other bets and sports: Because they may lose money with it

It all depends on the style of betting.

If you're a steam chaser / line shopper you'll be severely limited after a hot month.

If you bet favorites in parlays on TV games they will always be willing to take your action.
