BetOnline is potentially screwing me

Edit by SBR Lou: We have confirmed that Zach attempted to deposit to a total of two BetOnline accounts using the same CC. Both accounts were linked by IP. We have also confirmed that Zach has scammed a total of seven gaming sites. Each one had a poker room. The notes for each entry contained either CC or checking acct fraud.

The card Zach used at BOL will be refunded. The two CC's of his accomplices in the chip-dump will also have their cards refunded.

Hey guys, just thought I would throw this out there...as I don't want anyone to go through any unneccesary bullshit from yet another sportsbook. I have had BetOnline account for a while (over year at least id say) and had a few small cashouts (less than 5k) a few times without any problem. I took a break until last week sometime when I got email from them saying to give them a try (they have poker now) so I figured what the hell and deposited 1k which was very painless to deposit (always is, its the payouts that are always a hassle as you guys are prolly familiar with)....anyway, long story short I played all poker (didnt wager on any sports) and ran the account up to $7k...2 days later I decided I'd like to book a win so I requested a 5k cashout....That same day I am sent this email

"Hello Zachery

While reviewing your payment, we noticed an unusual play pattern related to username Ready?.

This pattern involves the funds transferring from his account to your account through the hands played.

May you please explain this situation?

We will also need a copy of your picture ID and utility bill in order to verify your identity.

Please be aware that we keep records for all the hands involved.

I replied that I had already attached a previous email with all identification documents (which they didnt need anyone since i had been a member there for a year and had sent these in many times before already)....

They are accusing me of some sort of chip dumping to a player that ive literally never seen in my life, and whom I lost money to at the beginning until i eventually got my losses back plus a few hundred. The majority (prolly 5k of the winnings were not even from this so called "Ready?" player name....sounds a bit shady to me and I am supposed to hear back from "management" tomorrow. Just goes to show u how careful u have to be before trusting even a "recommended book" with your funds. I will keep you posted as I am 100% positive I have done no wrongdoing, will be interesting to see if I somehow get screwed over in this deal.

Anyway just thought I would let my fellow sportsbettors and poker players know the scoop. thanks

Well to turn 1k into 7k in 2 days playing poker u have to be playing some high limits or good, im on your side but ive heard stories like this before that definately turned out to be chip dumping. I play poker online and im good, i know how hard it is to make that kind on $ in that little time, to be honest i really don't believe that unless your some kind of poker pro which it sounds to me from what your saying your not. If it makes u feel better they will probably just return the money to the right accounts and tell u not to do it again.

Sorry man they are a good outfit they wouldn't say this for no apparent reason, but u don't gotta prove it to me. When they do a thorough investigation on these hands they can see abnormal stuff going on so thats where they come to the conclusion. Just file a complaint with SBR

They are a little laggy when it comes to time, maybe cause its the weekend they are taking longer. But to solve this issue faster just file a complaint with SBR if your not sure thats your best option. I wasn't pointing fingers i was just telling u things i knew from similar stories even if the player was guilty or not, every place just made each party hand in ID's and returned the $ where it came from and said not to do it again or just took away the poker feature on each account. Just your best bet if u are guilty and u know it best thing is to do is just come clean as it will definitely speed up the process to get the $ back in the accounts.

Whos the idiot u or me, u must like all those F rated books because when it comes to talking about B books or better u think they are all bad for some reason. Yes i will defend Bodog, yes i will defend Bookmaker, yes i will defend Betonline and any other book that i use because guess what they all pay me when i ask to be paid. I have played poker for years, so I don't need a lesson on what chip dumping involves. It is collusion and very very easy to spot. I have no relation to anyone on this site, that is why this is so baffling, and seems like they are just finding ways to delay paying me. This could spell major problems, and could serve as a cheap lesson for anyone like myself that bet big on sports and poker during prime seasons. $6k is peanuts, just encourage nobody to invest a lot in this company at least until they get back to me and tell me everything is fine after their "research"...I am all for sites having security and doing player investigations, but like I said I just can't possibly see what would throw up a red flag between myself and the said player. $5k of the winnings were not even from this guy, nor was he at the table when I won. I was winning both before and after I played with him, whether he was on or off the table I was playing at. This should be very easy to see after they review these hands, but we are going on 48 hrs here....losing faith in Betonline by the minute, I really hope they can complete whatever "reviewing" needs to be done so we can move forward. As always, any comments are appreciated.

U can deposit they will pay, only thing is if u want to get your $ fast from them u have to pay for it the free method takes 3weeks.
There is more to what happened than we know im sure of it.

First of all I would like to say that once this is all over (its ongoing, and was contacted by Alex from Betonline management directly) saying he will personally look into this....anyway I don't appreciate one bit Legions36 replying on my behalf. There is indeed no facts hidden in this post, all are 100% completely accurate and as I have said earlier it must be some glitch in their system. Legions, you don't know me, nor is it your place to throw darts on my innocence or guilt. Not that I have to prove anything to anybody on here, but I do care about my reputation. Well I wouldn't call my situation a "nightmare." But I don't have as much money on the line as you do. I got completely and utterly fracked by sportsbook.com and that taught me to be wary. So really this payout was just a test to make sure they held their word. Obviously I'm glad I did a test payout before putting any real money on the table.

They seem to view anyone who doesn't lose as engaging in "unusual play pattern" or "suspicious."


So, yeah I agree with you. I would have never signed with them if they didn't have a B+ rating, even thought twice about that but they had all the right answers when I opened my account so I took a chance.

I really think they're a d+ at best.

I had the same type experience during my chats with BOL "customer service." Only all mine included many more "give me a moment"and "hold please." Plus they'd take a long time in responding even when they didn't tell you to "hold please." I had one with someone named "scouter" that left me pissed. I basically cut it off and told "scouter he should go mess with the next sucker dumb enough to deposit money with them.

I'm doubting they'll be downgraded. But I'm definitely letting everyone I know to stay the hell away from them. I've posted such warnings elsewhere and have warned people here locally. Word of mouth man, word of mouth.
