First post, been lurking here for awhile
I havent felt the need to ever post here, to complain/whine b/c I'm not a sheister who attempts to "get over" on my book when an opportunity arises (be it on a line thats accidentally kept up after an event has concluded or on a line that is off in an absurd fashion that it has to be an error). No, this is the crap that gets you on the sh*t list at your book, so when there's something that happens on your acct that you can possibly dispute, rest assured being a weasel will ensure you lose your dispute...I use 5dimes, and I know full well if they have a line up thats in error they will ultimately catch it and my sheister attempt will be voided anyway. Anyway I have often visited this board only for info on what sportsbook is about to get shut down next...

That said, something has always struck me as funny on this board. Those of you who actually bother to complain about being "ripped off" by an online casino. If you're dumb enough to gamble considerable money at the casino of a sportsbook you need to be prepared to deal with the consequences. I'm not talking about playing poker online against other real people. I'm talking about games like roulette, craps etc against the computer. You are gambling against a computer program. If you think these programs are "random", you need your head examined. This programs are put in place by the books to make $ over the long haul. You may win a little initially but you can bet your ass you are not going to win in the end, so why even test fate? These books are in the business to make $, the programs see to that. They cant control the outcome of sporting events, but they CAN control the outcomes of their roulette, craps games. Coming on here to piss and moan after a computer program kicks your ass makes you look incredibly, incredibly stupid. Granted, not all of you have 5 real casinos located within 30 mins of your house like I do in Philly, but still, stop donating your $ to the casinos of the books. You cant win. You wont win.

Agree completely.....I stay away from all casinos, brick & mortar or virtual. I just can't understand the mentality of trying to defeat a system that has a mathematical edge on you from the moment you begin to play. And if I ever feel compelled to sit down in front of my computer and begin to play blackjack or any other game, then I know I've reached a very dark and desperate period in my life.....

good luck beating books - come back often to express your opinions. also would like to mention it's good to see a 1st time poster not praising some 'd' book.

            Your casino part is bs.

And yes, I probably am a degenerate now. Just make some plays that hedge my mood. Like playing the opposite side of the Danish soccer teams in Europe..

Still, I would consider myself a non-degenerate in the past when I did this as a living - hunting casino bonuses and scalping/middling the hell out of books

I agree with the "dont play the online casinos" part of your rant, and even I think the cards and slots are not properly random. But I still enjoy a night out at a B&M casino every now and then, or even a dabble on a "Live dealer" casino. True they could still remove Aces from the pack but overall I think they are fair, and I enjoy it.
