What precautions should you take for tracking wagers?
I play at multiple books to get the best line and I was curious as to what precautions I should take to track my acct?

It is pretty hard to put faith into software that these books are running where they may lose a bet etc.

Right now I obviously check my results and ensure the wager was graded correctly but this doesn't always seem like enough. Should I be taking screen shots everyday once my wagers are placed? This seems excessive? Or should I track my balances and wagers in a spreadsheet?

Are there any benefits to using extra precaution or does the software run smooth and you don't have to worry about a bet dissapearing off the map or a balance magically dissapearing??

    Thanks

Take a screenshot of every wager.

I use a utility called Screenhunter from Wisdom-soft.

Hit just one function key and the image is captured and saved instantly.

And yes, if you are serious about your betting you really should be recording every bet you make and using the data to review what you're doing right and what's not working for you.

I haven't found any software which suits my needs so every bet I make is entered in a spreadsheet and initially I use that to reconcile all my bookie balances at the end of every week.

5.1 free works for me using xp but I had lots of trouble trying to get it to work with Win7 last year .. dunno if that's been fixed in the meantime

                I've never taken a screenshot.Course I don't actually make large wagers either.
