Just curious if you have to live in Nevada to play and if the contest is still worth it. Anyone ever do this?
Today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday.

It s known as the most prestigious football contest around. You dont have to live there, Rules stipulate u can authorize a proxy or broker to enter your picks every week, I willing be proxying again this year and I can help. Whether you decide to use me or not I would be happy to answer questions people might have about the Vegas Contests.

Too hard to get over there. I'm about 3-4 hours from Vegas. Would have to drive over every Friday. Might do it if ten people want me to be their proxy (but definitely not asking for that). Anyway, if you look at how prestigious the NFL is and how much Vegas is paying out in poker tournaments the 1st prize in the Hilton contest is not remotely in the same range. The Carib contest has a much better ratio between buy-in and 1st prize than the Hilton.

so you can't go there sign up , pay your entry fee in person, but fax in your picks, you have to be present to make your picks also??

I always thought it was the exchanging of funds from outside of Nevada , that violated the wire act

You have to sign up in person. You can use a proxy in Vegas to enter weekly picks, but it has to be in person.
