anyone having trouble depositing on 5dimes with CC or gift card?

my normal V!sa gift2g0 gift card is not working and the live chat operator was extremely incompetent.

i told him nicely that this is the exact card that i was told to purchase and that it would work for depositing (have used this card many many times)

after that he doesnt say bye, hold on, let me see, etc.

it just says "chat transferring to armando."
"site operators are currently busy, please press close and try again later"

im really starting to get sick of the incompetency of these clerks and everytime i go on the chat i show nothing but the utmost respect even as far as using sir/maam/please/thank you etc

at first he said he was checking with the cc dept, then said i should call the # on the card to see if its valid. lol of course it is, double checked the balance, double checked my registered details on the v!sa site and on 5dimes. then like i said, he just pretty much ended the chat session on me

you are lucky,i do not even have a v!sa option on 5dimes site and i have been a customer forever

why how long have you been with them? ive only been with them for about a year.

anyways i did get it to work. apparently the card for some reason took an extra hour to activate. i found this out by logging onto the gift card website and checking the account history. lol i might not be the smartest cookie but at least i have half a brain compared to whom referred to in my OP

The v*** processor disappeared from my deposit options on 5dimes, and they were able to put it back within 15 minutes. Might want to get them on chat if its not there.

i don't think 5dimes will take giftcards at the moment last time i check cuz i got one and the next the option disappear
