    Discuss..

Is 5dimes about to get a lot of customers and sweep the rest of the booking industry with the US players...

Or will 5dimes close the doors soon too..

I have an account with them and have no problems.

I also have Bookmaker and DSI too. They are good and have had no problems even after they changed their sites

To think that these 2 sites are not in the same boat as ALL OF THE OTHER SITES that have either shut down voluntarily, or by the USDOJ, is just foolish.

Jokes on you as I have received over 10k in payouts in the last 2 weeks with no problem. These guys that chose to do business in the US have multiple processors. It's a game of cat and mouse.

Vanzack....it is obvious that there is pressure being applied to leave the US markets..whether it is direct from the US Govt or indirect as a result of the legislation making financial transactions difficult. The question after today is whether any book will maintain thier US facing operations. I think Heritage expects to be around or why would they accept so many new US customers. The initial question in this thread is about 5 Dimes which is one of the only books out there that offers a host of great betting options (Especially props and Soccer). I love Heritage, but they don't offer the same betting options. Anyone with insight on 5 Dimes? (Of course I didn't see a hint of Spiro's move anywhere on the forums in advance of last night).

3 weeks ago the same was said about betjam and the greek. 5 months ago the same was said about pokerstars and full tilt. I would be careful. I recieved 10 k in withdrawels the last couple weeks from betjam and now they are done. I really think by the end of the year we will be very limited here what we can do.

The books have a handful of processors across the globe. If the Feds seize and close one down, another one opens. It's a game of cat and mouse. The ones that chose to leave the US do so because they do not want to deal with this BS.

You said it yourself, nobody knows even 5 minutes before these things happen - so nobody knows about 5dimes speicifically either.

But ask yourself "why would 5dimes be immune to the disease that every other offshore facing the US has contracted?"

Do you think The Greek and BJ WANTED to close off 90% of their business? How about all of the other books that have done the same in the last 6 months?

I have no idea why 5dimes would be any different. It is my opinion that if you have money in an offshore that accepts Americans - ANY of them (5dimes, Heritage, BM) - you either have junk bond risk tolerance, or have your head in the sand.

When the BS went down with Bookmaker, I spoke with a manager at 5D. He said at the time that they &ave no intention of leaving the US market. He explained how they have too many processors for the govt to keep up with.
