After 8 years BetJamaica will close its doors. Non-US account holders will see their accounts moved to parent sportsbook, TheGreek (SBR rating A+). If the player already has an account at TheGreek balances will be merged. The remainder of BetJamaica players will be moved to Heritage Sportsbook (SBR rating B+).

I did the link with Greek to Heritage and signed up there with my information, then i got a new user id and password from the Heritage. Then when i logged in it said my account is temporarily disabled, whats up with that.

I tried transferring the account from the Greek to the Heritage now in it worked this time for whatever reason. I'm sure your account is temporarily disabled until all or most accounts have been transferred to the Heritage. For security/fraud purposes..

5dimes will not do transfers of accounts with the Heritage. So you have to cash out first.

Bad news of the day... just logged in this morning and got the message. I went from Matchbook (fall 2010) to DSI (winter 2010-11) and then just two months back moved the balance to thegreek. I left matchy obviously due to exit of the US market, DSI due to limits, and now sadly greek is also gone.

This is very frustrating, and many of us question the worth of going the 'extra mile' to sports wager. For some with small balances it's not and they quit, others have locals. For me it is worth going through any hassle, as the rewards are great. Sadly, greek was the last remaining US-open book with large (unrestricted) limits, which effectively brings the discussion to having a runner.

Anyone know a pinny runner taking customers, please ping me. I'll make it worth your while.

They say they guarantee payouts at Heritage, but that doesn't mean much. If Heritage goes under, it doesn't mean anything.
Heritage might be a good book, but I'm going to close out and then wait and see if Heritage weathers the storm.

I'm with you. I don't know much about Heritage but what I've seen isn't impressive. Team totals released at random throughout the day. Ridiculous. I tolerated the Greek's 20c baseball totals because they took big bets and wouldn't limit and treat you like garbage if you won.

I don't appreciate the Greek not processing the withdrawals. I don't want to have an account or play at Heritage. At least give me the common courtesy of having that option.

I'll be requesting a payout Monday.
