Idiocy is one of the reasons I don't post alot here. Read the statute, understand the law.

The only worry players should have is being able to get their money out. Look at full tilt for example (no payout) versus pokerstars which paid US players. So hopefully whatever books you use are legit and will pay out

NO, despite what some of the jokers in this thread has said.

And there is no reason to be concerned with having 5-digit balances at places like Bookmaker, The Greek or 5 Dimes, as those three books are not going anywhere.

You may need to be more careful at most lower rated books however.

Everyone's money is safe at Bookmaker, they have more money than the US Government.
