Problems with William Hill

I am having trouble with William Hill. They have not processed a withdrawal I made last weekend. They say they are performing a security check on my account and have been telling me this for the last eight days. They will not tell me what the nature of this is. They will not tell me what the problem is. I have asked them to tell me to see if I can help them but they will not do so. I have offered them documentation but they say this is not required at this stage. I have been on livechat, have e-mailed and telephoned them but I get the same response; "we are conducting a security check and cannot give you a timescale when it will be completed by". They will not let me speak with the security team directly.

I have no experience of this and don't know what to do. I would have thought they have had enough time to do the check. What annoys me the most is that they won't tell me what it is. I am beginning to think they just do not want to pay me out or they do not want to pay me out at the moment. Can anyone suggest what I should do? Is there any chance that I won't get my money? I need it now!

At home. And if this is the issue, and they tell me it is, I can confrim this with them. This is what I find frustrating. If the tell me the concern, I am sure I can help.

I can't remember if I did so previously or not. I have asked them if they want any documentation and they have said no. Again, if they tell me that is the issue, I can help, though it appears not to be as they don't seem to want it.

If you've done nothing wrong, you'll get it fixed at William Hill.

WillHill is fair. Sometimes a little slow but you will get it worked out

Strange book,sometimes but when i spoke to livechat when was neccecary all the problems resolved.

this can happen at any book there is nothing you can do but wait patiantly and keep gettign on and asking questions about it you will get if fixed im sure

I take it you're not from UK? Wife and I play here from same PC (and therefore IP addy) for a few years, and never had a problem, even with regards to bonuses.

I take on board that this could happen at any time, but from my viewpoint I don't see how it can be right especially as they will not tell me what the issue is. As far as I am concerned I have been given no justification for the withholding of my winnings and have certainly done nothing wrong.

could it be in relation to how you funded your account?
e.g. via Moneybookers and you've made payment to or received funds into that account from someone who may have done something bad?

have you had any trouble with another book for say a **********, multi-accounting, bonus abuse etc?

WillHill is pretty lousy at letting you know "why" something is going on. When I got bet restrictions there, they refused to tell me what they were, or what events were restricted. It was on me to bet and find out it was refused.

The dumb part was there was no rhyme or reason. One minute I could bet $100 on one event, then another similar event I couldn't be more than a few pennies.

Thanks for the posts, everyone. There is still nothing from William Hill with regard to what the issue is. I cannot think of anything I have done which might be presenting a problem and really am getting fed up with it.

Do you have any idea why this may be happening? Did you receive an explanation?

Have you phoned them? Maybe call and ask to talk to management or fill out a complaint here
