what do you think 5dimes is gonna do? did i win the hand? what happens if i log off or get disconnected say prior to hitting? did they take a shot at me?
I had 13. Dealer showed 9. I hit and then got the "communicating" freeze

#4Their site is down. I'm pretty sure from memory that their rules state your bet will be void. But double check that when it's back up again.

#5Well i logged back intot he casino an the hand was still active
i hit and got a 7! boom for a 20! but then i cant remember what exactly teh dealer flipped but it was like a 6, and then a 5, so we pushed.
pretty cool of 5dimes to just not cancel the hand and "take a shot" at me, when i first logged in i was like damn i lost because the balance was like i had lost, but upon entering the casino, i was happily surprised that the hand was still alive.Comment -

#6This is standard for online casinos. I can recall maybe 1 or 2 times where I had to contact support to reset my session because everything was "stuck" but most places if your hand/game loses a connection it picks up where you left off.Comment -

Now that I think of it, the rule I had looked at was for disconnects in their live casino. Thanks xstud for explaining how it usually works in their regular games. I learn something new every day

#13I've had this happen a few times on various different casinos and software and every time the hand continued once I was reconnected even if it was awhile later. I think it has to be that way with every software, it's the only thing that makes sense. Otherwise I could just unplug my computer from the internet every time I got a 16 to a dealer 10 and get my initial bet back. So even if it's a day later, it should continue the hand once you reconnect.Comment -

#14If that's the rule players could cheat the system and just disconnect intentionally whenever they got 16 to dealer 10 ect.Originally posted by shari91Their site is down. I'm pretty sure from memory that their rules state your bet will be void. But double check that when it's back up again.
I never played in the "live casino" so maybe that's the rule in them but in software casinos I'd be shocked if a casino let you get your initial bet back if their was a disconnect.Comment -

#15At SBR and 5 Dimes if it stops in the middle, you can reopen and resume where the hand left off.
They don't void the hands.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

#16I wouldn't htink you could void a hand that way. I would think thati f you got disconnected, some sites would likely just count the hand as a loss no matter what.Originally posted by KindredI've had this happen a few times on various different casinos and software and every time the hand continued once I was reconnected even if it was awhile later.
