There's really not a "ruling" to be made at this point, other than there being poor customer service involved on behalf of BetPhoenix.

It's a simple issue in theory that we're hoping the new manager at BetPhoenix is able to address. BetPhoenix was lowered recently to C, these types of issues are about on par with a C rated book.

That blows, dude "won" and can't/didn't get paid. It's one thing to flame out and a person can live with that, but to get this has to be a horror story.

Take it as a expensive lesson learned, go with The Greek, Betjam, hell even 5Dimes does pay.

How is there not a ruling?

BetPhoenix claims that payouts are finished from their end when sent to the processor. This is completely wrong. The payout should be ended when the customer signs for the funds and they are good.

This is scam book behavior.

I guess no ruling means there's no decision to be made, it's clear BP are in the wrong, but now they need to find somebody at BP to deal with it.

I'm glad someone gets it. Ruling implies there's some sort of decision involved or that there's something left open for interpretation.

It's black and white. The player's being given the runaround from a C rated sportsbook. We know that the majority of players being slow paid are waiting for eWallet payouts --- those slow payments are what led to the BetPhoenix downgrades. With the exception of two other check or money order disputes from the Phoenix camp this year, they are normally good at everything not MB or NT...so we're waiting along with the player to see if BetPhoenix' new contact for payouts steps up to the plate. Hopefully he does.

SBR grading and reporting on books is way down from where it used to be. Earlier this year Jon Kreta walked away from this family, and the book he started up. What makes a guy walk away from WC and start over? And what did that say about the BP family? Why didn't we get the story here? Looks like some folks gave the ol' watchdog a nice juicy bone, and now he's all without bark and completely DOZErD off.

I took a payout a couple of months ago, where BP actually sent me the money via p2p for free rather than have me wait for the check that they admitted would take longer than their listed time frame. And this was at their suggestion. I was ready to deposit again a couple weeks later after losing my remaining balance. I didn't get around to it for a couple of days, and then started following a couple of these BP threads. Now I am grateful for my procrastination.
