Harrah's shut out of NBA Finals market
I am in Vegas at the moment, and thought this might be of interest:

All of the Harrah's properties have this prominently posted in all their sportsbooks (Harrahs, Caesars, Flamingo, Bills, Paris, Ballys)

Harrah's Entertainment Properties cannot take wagers on Boston Celtic's games because a Harrah's Entertainment Executive has an ownership interest in the Boston Celtics. We apologize for any inconvenience.

SBR moderator Onlooker did make mention of this the other day sir.

Sports betting and handicapping forum: discuss picks, odds, and predictions for upcoming games and results on latest bets.

I know they are trying to make a statement by doing this, but I doubt it's the Vegas Casinos that the NBA needs to be worried about. It's all the offshore books that still accepts wagering on those games.

So what was the difference in them taking action on the Celtics in the regular season and not taking them in this series

I guess it makes them sleep better at night. As if the $15k designer bedding wasn't enough.
