Bookies will often, and are perfectly entitled to, refuse service if they want to. If you got paid, you really have no complaints.

This happens all the time if you're not a profitable customer for them.

ALL those Euro books are for "recreational" punters only (i.e. losers)

make the most of them while you can but it won't last if you are good at snapping up the best odds

euro books only want the mugs who bet parlays, lucky 15's etc etc.

they do take huge bets but not everyone knows they lay off on betfair for a guarenteed profit,

no loss to u bud. stan james are bad.

used to love talking to the clerks when I had to phone in all my bets to get trader approval...they had only a few who specialized in Canada

Same thing happened to me... I opened the account at the end of January... made a 100 eur bet, which lost and I haven't logged in since... got the same closure email yesterday. While I'm no extremely upset - it still would have been nice for them to give a heads up saying your account is inactive - maybe you should log in... Anyway, good riddance.

Stan James and Victor Chandler are currently having a bit of a cull of 'unprofitable' accounts, they are analyzing betting patterns, then traders just have them closed down. If you have the cheek to win a refund or free bet at Victor Chandler there is a every chance they will also close you down.

Exactly this happened to me today. First they allowed me really small bets (6 EUR max). When i asked why these restrictions, they told me that my account is in arbitrage and because of betting patterns?! I used to betting really small bets (max 50 EUR). Yes, i was in profit, but not too much to ruin them

..this is really weird conditions, i liked this sportsbook mainly because of speed of withdrawals, but now i really don't get this and i am disappointed about them.

I made 3-4 steam bets only,no arbs.and this closure surprised me.
instead of being limited,for first time my account is directly closed.

If you bet steam, you can hardly be surprised when they close your account. No way for them to win against such players.

The simple fact is that EVERY Euro book will end up limiting you if you show any talent at snaring the best odds available.

You just have to approach them all with the intent of getting what you can from them before the music stops and move on to the next one until you've exhausted your welcome at them all.

I should say most of them euro books limit it´s customers. But not EVERY book. That is not the truth. For example. Gamebookers, Partybets and Bet-at-home still give punters high to medium high betting limits and that includes professional players in most cases. Pinnacle sports if we count them as Euro since most of it´s customers is from Europe. And the betting exchanges betfair and betdaq of course. There is a couple of more european sportsbooks too. Stan James is one of the worst and limit it´s customers extremely fast. More and more bookies limit it´s customers faster today compares few years ago. That is sad to punters and we need to say NO to stop it.

utterly wrong again re Gamebookers and Party .. they are amongst the worst of the Euro books ... not only for severe limiting but for cheating on their tennis sets rule
