I've been super, super busy lately, but just tried checking in to Diamond Sportsbook for a quick bet on the game tonight, and I see that the domain name has been seized! I did a (very) quick once-over of the board and see that the topic has been discussed a bit, but could someone update me? Perhaps a cliff-notes version?

thats the new domain...from what I understand just the domain name has been seized, player funds are safe

Thanks man. How is it that U.S. law enforcement is/was able to meddle with an overseas company though?

The .com domain registration information is located on servers that are in the U.S.

The companies that issue the .com's are American companies. The feds can force them to shut down specific websites. They actually could fight it, but it isn't worth it to them to risk losing their whole company just for some gambling sites.
