Why are Washington Players getting shown the door by sportsbooks?
It seems every time I try to log into an book I haven't been on in a while it goes this way. Log in, double check password/account, talk to live chat, get informed I can't deposit, can't log in online. Sometimes they mention I *could* call in my remaining balance for bets but can never deposit etc.

Some of these books also mention I could ask them for an address change but would need proof but I have a feeling *wink* *wink* they wouldn't all ask me or care, some would. Let's just be honest about the situation, in the eyes of the government, all sports betting basically is illegal. The books have been thwarting this for years but all of a sudden care about what some random stupid state has to say about it?

So far all BetPhoenix and group of books have done this. I just tried to log onto DSI where I have won a good amount of freeplays from poker, same thing. I am assuming bookmaker has already blocked me seeing as they and dsi are run by the same people. I am almost afraid to check my 5Dimes, rebatewager, the greek etc books to find out where I'm at.

I guess my question is if you are screwing around with the Feds and not giving two carps about their laws, why would you care about Washington State? . Also, the list is short for me looking to go pro and sites that will let me play online and take a Washington player. If anyone knows a "pro" book that hasn't booted us please list it here.

online gambling is banned in washington....sportsbooks auto-block based on the IP address. But you have other options if you are smart enough to figure it out.

yeah obviously, but his point is why suddenly bow down to washington laws and not to the rest of the country.

Many states don't have these laws. The recent poker crackdown is a result of NY state law. Also, I remember the old Washington law re: poker made it a felony. Is the current law this severe?

Yes I understand I could use a proxy or change my address etc etc. My point was Federal law prohibits them as well but they suddenly care about one random state. I have some sites that still accept washington players but none of them qualify me for pro, though I am about to check my 5 dimes account which I am hoping will be ok. I'm at work right now so I'm going to wait till I get home.

Edit: Ya rape, armed robbery, murder and online gambling are class C felony. Welcome to the people's republic of washington
