Yes, that is very true. I didn't mean that people wouldn't want to be there.

That is exactly what I meant. EZ knows that I am fully capable of exposing them. I repeated over and over that I was going to put them to the test.

Ha...Either that or since all 6 people chosen are known EZ shills and supporters, if someone does accomplish the 17 hands per minute, will they be asked to keep their mouth shut???

Marvin told me the contest will be broadcast live over the internet. If we see that they disabled the fast play button then we will know that the contest is rigged.

You do realize they are going to San Jose.... Not exactly a beach destination. And definitely not somewhere that I would wanna be 100% arranged by a potentially-shady sportsbook.

If I'm going to Costa Rica... take me to Drake Bay or Tamarindo. San Jose? No thanks... its a shit city full of nasty hookers, and shady people (no offence to the SBR Staff... I'm sure they know what exactly I'm talking about)

It's clear that every hand that cory played was not examined by Easystreet to see if the strategy was perfect - the only way to do this would be to program each hand into a vp calculator (vp software) one by one with each card's rank and suit - to do this for 22k hands one by one would take forever.

For that matter, I doubt that they checked 100 hands he played to see if they were played perfectly.

It was made clear long ago that no one ever checked for this.
Or if they did, they found out that he didn't play perfectly. Which is why they've refused to release the hand by hand play logs.

This whole issue of seeing if anyone can play perfectly at that speed is nonsense, as it's never been demonstrated that Cory played perfectly.

The only thing I am curious about is how many people who have put down Easystreet and called them every name in the book and posted in these threads every single day would turn down this opportunity?

I would bet even pp22 (I hope you are doing good) would fly down and participate in this contest if he was offered a chance. Basically it is a chance at free money. Does it mean it is right or fair? no. However, they could have easily just said "**** it" but they are going to try to show people they have the money to pay. Sure it may not total 45k but like other people have mentioned... 6 flights + hotel stay is easily several thousand BEFORE prize amounts.

I personally see this contest as a good thing for the fact they are not just closing up shop and some players will have a chance at a fair amount of money.

I was one of the players selected.

I am much looking forward to this trip. Who wouldn't want to fly down to Costa Rica, free of charge with a shot at 10K and giving a large amount to a local chairty? All while hitting the golf course and meeting some guys I have known on the forum but never met in person.

I am going to give my best shot at 18+ hands per min for the 136 minutes.

I have absolutely no interest in going halfway around the world for a 1/6 chance at 10k. First off, there is not a shot in hell they are giving 25k to a charity and everyone on this forum knows it. 2nd, Ive played some vp online since this whole dispute came out and i HAVE averged 17 hands per minute so that right there would disqualify me from participating becuase they would be afraid of the results (hence not letting WVU participate). And lastly, I'm all for winning contests, tournaments, wagers, even the lottery, but I have absolutely no interest in winning dirty, tainted money.

Best of luck in the contest, I hope you win a huge chunk of the prize money-- which I have no doubt they'll pay. As far as the charity thing, I don't see it happening. Playing 18+ hands a minute isn't the difficult part--you also have to display perfect play as well. I don't see that happening. Moreover, playing that quickly may be to your disadvantage as I think the winner will be chosen by winnings not most hands/min. Again, GL.

well the more hands you can play per hour would give you a better shot to have the most winnings

I hope you are doing well. How are you today? In regards to your post I am sorry I was wrong about the assumption. I just do not know a gambler around that would not take a shot at free money. I would go just for the free trip. Essentially it is as if they are giving you 1500.00 in a trip depending on where you are flying from. So you come out ahead before you even sit down to play VP. But if everyone is that honorable and would turn down that opportunity I am clearly wrong.

I think we all deal with dirty tainted money every single day when we bet on sports and are Americans because after all our great country has yet to legalize this.

I sincerely hope you have a good day pp. I hope you don't take any of the words wrong and wish you the best of luck!
