Exactly. There already is an exchange americans can use. What people want is an exchange with lots of liquidity. But guess what? You are the ones who have to supply the liquidity.

Because BetMaker charges relatively high commissions, a non-intuitive interface, high transfer costs, and has management taking a wait-and-see attitude toward the venture's success.

If I saw signs that they were trying harder, I would try harder. I don't doubt that they should be in one's lineup of outs for the occasional best number, and I'll look at them again in the Fall--but I sure understand the desire for an exchange whose clear clear ambition is to create high volume through low commissions.

Good point about the DOJ. Don't know if this is the right time to be setting up an exchange when it is getting harder to process money to and from the US.
