Betphoenix Does Not Honor Free Cash-Out
I want to write a compaint here about BetPhoenix on their cash-out methods. Before signing up I was told by a Betphoenix agent that I was allowed 1 free cashout per month. Recently I went to cashout $600 and they said it costs $51. I contacted them and asked why it cost $51 to cashout when they had told me it was free. The agent said the free method promised to me is currently unavailable. I am a beginner in sports wagering and $51 means a lot to me. That is besides the fact that they had told me its free and available. Is anyone else having the same problem with this site? Is Betphoenix going broke? Anyways, I just wanted to put this out there.

You came to the right place. File a complaint with SBR. They should be able to work this one out fairly easily.

BetPhoenix is shit by the way.

I am happy that you got the free cash out Stash. I am just saying that they did not honor my free cash out. Maybe things had changed recently. I tried talking to one of their representative about this and that is what they told me. Free cash out is currently unavailable.

Yeah, talk to Richard. Surely he'll be able to help out, as not to make light of your situation but "free cash out is currently unavailable" is one of the more humorous lines I've heard of from a CS Rep.....

Should not be on the player's back that the "free" processor is unavailable right now. I am pretty sure the T&C's don't say "free withdrawal if the right processor happens to be available at the time you submit your request".

Hopefully they will do the right thing and offer an alternative, like "fly to Costa Rica and take a polygraph to get your money" (oh that's Easy Street)

I just want to update you guys on what is going on with this "Free Cashout." I contacted Richard, the head guy at Betphoenix and he indeed says its free. He said cashout via money order $2000 or under is free of charge. However, that service is currently unvailable. I spoke to the Rep. for like 15 minutes just to get this conclusion. He then told me that if I may have to wait at least a month. Which means my $600 will be held up for a month unless I used another cashout method which will cost $51. This is getting absurd. I will file a complaint with SBR and hope that thye will resolve this issue in a timely manner. Anyways I will keep you guys posted.

They tried to pull this on me too a while back.

Is their "free" method ever available?

If a book offers a "free" method and it's "unavailable", they should send another way free of charge!

Yes, file a complaint. If they can't send you a check/money order for the 'free cashout" then they should send you a ** or ** for NO CHARGE. They have done this for many customers in the past, all of whom have one thing in common... they complained publicly and/or filed a complaint. If you don't know about the forums, they will screw you. If you do, they will do the right thing.

Tell them that you want the money sent ** for no charge. If they resist doing this, file a complaint. It seems they are less enthusiastic about this solution in recent weeks. They have finally realized that it leads to them hemorrhaging money (especially when sending four figures, which has to come in multiple transactions). Of course, they should not advertise free cashouts if they don't want to use this work around every time their processor has issues.

BetPhoenix is a very poorly run book and lately it seems like they are working on cutting costs/plugging leaks (long overdue).

I filed and official complaint with SBR and Lou did indeed tried his best to resolve the issue. The result was this: Lou contact them and Betphoenix promised to send me a free check with no cost. I was happy to hear the news and contacted BP to cashout. They said,"yea we can send you a the check free of charge. Howewer, that service is currently unavailalbe." Really? They not only lied to their customers about free cashouts, but they lied to SBR and Lou. What does it mean, "free cash out but currently unavailable?" I am going to eat the $51 cost to get my money out and be done with this headache. Meanwhile I will petition to have this site downgraded by SBR. I will post a thread about this. If you are one of the players out there that feel you have been mistreated by sportbooks please voice your opnion on this new thread. Let them know that we are not going to take BS from Sportsbooks.
