5 Dimes tells me I cannot deposit??

So after losing my last two deposits with 5 Dimes, I ask them if I can deposit via **, and am told that I am not allowed to do that - my only deposit option is a sportsbook transfer. I ask why and get to Tony who tells me since I chase moves, he has no interest in covering the fees from my deposits. I say fine, I'll cover the fees if that's the issue, and he still says no, that I can only deposit or withdraw via sportsbook transfer.


Has anyone heard of this happening? Not every day you find a book who refuses your $!

Well betting steam is obviously his issue with me. Thing is though, I wasn't even really doing that - they have me on a delay so not like I could do it effectively. Just sometimes a line moves making the odds on one side better, and I would often bet that side after the move since I was able to get better odds than previously. I guess they didn't like that and considered it to be chasing moves?

Not a huge deal anyway, I don't tend to make large bets, only reason I played there was since they had the reduced juice on the NBA lines for $50 (about the size of my usual plays). Was more in awe of a book refusing to take a deposit given all the stories I hear of books cold calling etc.

Not sure how I've done there overall since have played there for several years. But I took almost a 2 year break from playing and then started again recently where I lost a bunch there and then when I tried to redeposit, they said no.

If it was a question of me winning too much, then they would have probably stopped me long before. But they didn't and in my recent play I lose a bunch then they decide to not let me redeposit? No idea...

This clearly is not an issue of there being a limit or anything - he flat out told me my account was not eligible to deposit in any fashion other than book transfers.

No, I do not post my picks anywhere, and as I've stated, even though I have a lot of trophies, I assure you my record really isn't that amazing - I just bet big so when I win it seems like I do really well. But for instance yesterday, I lost almost 8000 SBR Points.

I honestly don't care too much about this - like I said, only nice thing about 5 Dimes was the $50 reduced lines they had for some things. Just this whole "you cannot deposit" policy is certainly a new one by me!

A good friend owned an online casino business a few years back. My girlfriend at the time was the CS manager.

Over a period of 2 years or so they went from happy-go-lucky people who wanted to be fair to players and treat them like valuable customers, to paronoid player hating crazies.

When you are on that side of the table I think it feels like the world is mostly populated by bonus abusers, free loaders and cheats.

And too long dealing with it can turn anyone into an unreasonable prick to deal with.
