Was at the 7-11 today and it made me wonder if anyone has tried depositing using this method?

I went to 7-11 last week planning on using a transfer method.. Picked up the phone on the atm machine and could hardly hear the automated message. I immediately left and went to somewhere where I could deal directly with a cashier.
