You are right that I do not know exactly what happened. The circumstantial evidence I have is like many people on this thread I bet with VIP for years and have never had an issue. I have won large sums and never had a withdrawal problem. Their CS has always been helpful. The other bit of evidence is that for some reason this player did not supply all the information to Justin7. That says something to me. Also, we have heard this story before. Once a week in this very forum someone will come on and say Bookmaker stole $600,000 from me or Sportbook.com owes me $16,000. It sounds horrible and makes all of us players shake that something like that could happen to us but 9 times out of 10, someone at SBR reveals the real story which is the person had a ********** on a CC or an NSF instant deposit and then got lucky and won a lot of money before the payment bounced. All these sportsbooks have every right to void your winnings if you don't pay. Why should they pay you when you failed to pay them?
I can't remember the last time on this forum someone came in and said XYZ Sportsbook took my winnings because they said my deposit was NSF and the player had ZERO issues in the case. There is always something that isn't said or that comes out later unless you are betting with a low quality book which nobody on here should be. If you are betting with a low quality book then just like if you let an NSF happen on your instant deposit, there is only one person to blame and they are very easy to find. They will be at your mirror in the bathroom anytime you want to have a chat with them.
It is the responsibility of every player to have your business in order. It's always good to have a card that you use ONLY for gambling. It is good to have a bank account you use only for gambling. You should know the money in your bank account to the penny and always be sure to have at least $50 more in your account than you plan to deposit. Have an account just for gambling prevents small charges or deductions that you might forget (phone bill or a recurring deduction) don't cause you to go NSF or have charge issues. Everything in those accounts is gambling and you can easily keep track.
